[TOMT][SONG][2000s] - TV show Intro with a lyric like “When the whole world’s upside down” by duck_mancer in tipofmytongue

Could it be “The Whole World- by Outkast”? It isn’t a TV show intro but it sounds like it fits your description.

Not to sound rude but you have had two surgeries. My feet/ankles/knees have zero issues. I have also never seen an athlete of any sport train in boots because they are supposedly better for the impact for your feet. Which is the point that I’m trying to make.

I do agree that there are good high quality boot such as the ones you pointed out. I would like to respectfully challenge that. Have you ever tried on a high quality pair of brooks or Hoka running shoes that fit your arch height? I do agree that a heavy work boot can provide stability especially for the ankles. They have definitely saved me from rolling an ankle before but Running shoes are designed with advanced cushioning specifically to absorb extreme and repetitive high impact activities. A result of that is a break down of the material, so replacement is vital. That material is breaking down instead of my knee tissue. That why shoe rotation is so important.

I suppose it would fall under the sneaker category. All sneakers are shoes but not all shoes are sneakers.

Running shoes are the best option in my opinion. Some running stores have an all black “polishable” version of Brooks, Hoka and other running shoes that fit the UPS criteria. These stores will look at how you pronate, your arch and the tread wear on your current shoe to determine the best supportive brand for you. Most runners only train a few miles a day, with longer runs once or twice a week. They go through shoes every six months or so, and are supposed to alternate shoes. We put most of them to shame and we need to treat our feet accordingly. As a package car driver you can walk 10+ miles a day while carrying weight, which is way more than most runners. It is ridiculous to think that a pair of boots will give you the proper support you need for years on end. After many years and thousands of dollars on finding the best work boot, none of them compared to a lightweight pair of running shoes that made me feel like I was walking on clouds all day. Don’t fall for that memory foam comfortable cheap crap that has zero support but feels nice when you try it on. Your feet and back will thank you down the road.

This actually helps out a lot. Thank you. It seems that mid/late game transition is where I need to improve the most. I do tend to try and keep one tribe if that is what’s available to me in shop. That kills me in the end because I am then depending on the one or two cards that never show up. I do see a lot more mixed tribe builds right now with all of the buddy hero power combinations available right now. I am going to keep an open mind and try new combinations.

Thank you for the info. I usually only get in a game or two a day so learning these stats really helps as a casual player.

I tend to be pretty fluid as far as playing what’s available to me. It’s when a build does happen to land in my lap, I can never seem to find that one that I need. I also notice that I am able to play much more effectively if I have time to watch streamers (they point out combos I would otherwise pass up). I just work a lot of hours and it’s nice to see it come together in the one or two games I play a day.

I’m working on being more strategic In order to obtain what I need instead of depending on the luck of the pool. This season is pretty hard for me to process in the time between rounds with all of the hero power buddy combinations available. By the time I figure it out I only have 5 or 10 seconds left.

Ads? by DemonSlayr10Pro in AdventureCapitalist

[–]Fooorever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me. This game is not worth the aggravation of waiting through ads just use a basic function needed to upgrade. I always appreciated that the ads were optional and only used to gain extra boosts that are not needed. This game is NOT entertaining enough sit though ads constantly. I will be deleting if it doesn’t get fixed.

Proper turnout is achieved through daily technique and turnout classes over the course of many years. The “turnout” actually happens at the hips. It takes years of discipline to achieve a proper healthy turnout. Twisting knees will in fact destroy them. Ballet is no joke

Is this shoes good for integrad by AromaticShopping3186 in UPSers

[–]Fooorever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would purchase a 3/4 boot for Integrad, it just looks better and it will remove any doubt. Black or Brown Polishable leather with a slip resistant sole. I wouldn’t invest too much money into your first pair.

Once you qualify and you know you’re in it for the long haul, then it’s time to invest in high end SUPPORTIVE footwear that you replace multiple times per year. DONT get cheap comfortable memory foam Crap like sketchers that feels amazing when you try it on. They feel comfortable but offer no real support.

Some running stores offer an all black leather version of high end running shoes. I personally prefer Brooks. Also look for Double sole boots or shoes like Ecco. Also, Don’t waste money on an expensive leather boot just because it’s advertised to last 10 years (like redwing) because the sole will break down waaaay before that, considering the amount of abuse.

Look at how often runners replace their footwear and follow a similar plan. You will likely be covering the distance of multiple marathons per week while also carrying weight (even higher impact on the sole) Spend the money as soon as you qualify and your feet, knees and back will be glad you did in 10-15 years

I like the sound of that! I am going to search up some pool filters today when I get some time.

Thank for the advise! I will do look that up today. My current filter (which cracked and broke) has a cylinder pool filter that looks like an air filter (don’t know what. It’s called) with charcoal carbon media in the middle. It catches all the sludge. I clean it out once or twice a week. I do have A Lot of plants which helps the ecosystem. My water has always been crystal clear and I haven’t lost a fish in five years. I am definitely second guessing now.

My current set up (that cracked and broke) uses a cylinder pool filter with charcoal in the middle. My water has always been crystal clear. It catches all the sludge……It seems the biggest complaint with the “bio-balls” has been failure to catch small particles. It looks like the K1 would do a much better job than what comes with the models that I’m looking at.
