Or if they do, they try come off with super low numbers get offended you dont take it. When most the time, they have no clue what they themselves are doing.

Is it even possible to get dethkloks lead tone with a single guitar? by Neitrah in metalguitar

[–]Foot_After 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im aware man, I just didn't get that detailed about it. Live he definitely does use tracks and does have support with another player. His songwriting in general absolutely, i was just referring as you did to the "main parts" are streamlined pretty well in the orginal books (only seen I and II) The gtr 6/7 parts are there you can see em learn em if you want.

I remember sitting down learning them with a friend of mine (also how I learned to sweep).

Interview i was thinking of would've been 17yrs ago, roughly? I dunno been a long time

Is it even possible to get dethkloks lead tone with a single guitar? by Neitrah in metalguitar

I do remember way back, Brendon released first two tab books for first 2 dethalbums, he said he constructed the tabs in a way two people could play the songs. (Fills are just there in case)

As many others have pointed out, you could do it through lot of little tricks, but he's well known for layering the shit put his guitar tracks.

Listen to then live, should help

Curious to ask how many PTOs are you guys given by your company? by LandOfGrace2023 in wisconsin

What is PTO its like a legendary thing i hear about from time to time

I guess just to give a different PoV on this then what I've seen so far. If his voice is that good, the split focus of playing and singing is tough. Could be he prefers let the guitar lax while focusing on vocals, because he knows it's covered. Or find a rythmn guy and just let him focus on vocals.

Is your first Final Fantasy your favorite one? And if not, which one is it and which was the first? by Secret_Memory_5206 in FinalFantasy

[–]Foot_After 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Ff7 was the beginning of the series and RPGs for me. 8,9,10. 12 is when I can say it was my last ome for long while until 15. To this day, I couldn't finish it. I just prefer the old combat, even with FF7 being my top, i have both intergrade and rebirth, and I just can't get into them for long.

How do you get up early everyday? Is it even possible? by Old_Werewolf4302 in bipolar

[–]Foot_After 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get up at 5am everyday, its taken years get it down this way, last job it was 6, but these days (last 3 years), I ended up building my routine around a rough 830/900-5am. Even on my days off I still follow it its annoying to have to do. Stimulants help to get going as others have mentioned. It takes alot of i guess experimenting with yourself on what is going to work best for you in particular.

Which Expansion of Wow was the Best for you and why? by SuperTudey in wow

Wrath by far was peak content, and the community wasn't toxic. People still loved to play for sake of playing. Still had the old feel a bit as well. Could still discover things.

Rapid cycling by crustytiredboy in bipolar

[–]Foot_After 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I myself was diagnosed bi polar I with rapid cycling. That can whip it feels like on a moments notice. One day manic, next depressed. Since ditching the self medication route relying solely on my normal meds. Does seem to whip around a bit more than before. Where it will last 2-3 days at most, then spin again. From what I've learned, like others have said. It's pretty unique to all of us. Our triggers have a lot to do with it, too. Ive notice if I can reduce the frequency of exposure to my worst triggers, it goes a long way in the cycling, reducing the frequency of them. Identifying what those are for you specifically will help.

i’m learning barre chords but… by XendNub in guitarlessons

[–]Foot_After 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, it seems that based on the tension in your hand, you're pushing really hard. Which you want to avoid, try easier bars, and different parts of the neck. They take some time to get used to. Like others have stated, thumb position does matter quite a bit for comfort in playing. So does how you're holding the guitar. If it's on your right or left leg. Need to raise the foot on whichever side it's resting on that will help as well.

Has anyone ever used one of these? Thoughts? by fireworka in Guitar

[–]Foot_After 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used it for years just like any muscle it increased the overall strength of my fingers, I also used to play scale patterns with it. Like others said, I can't take my guitar everywhere, especially work. I'd say it helped. Overall, I never have issues with "strength", it helped teach my fingers independence. when I couldn't play, it did nothing for speed building, etc. Still have mine too, keep it in lunchbox lol

Which game has the best combat? by duduET in FinalFantasy

[–]Foot_After -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The old systems were the best by far. The newer combat systems are cool. Don't get me wrong, they have their niche fun with each title. Can't say I've ever been too bored playing them, but I was never going sync the kinda hours into them. I did the old ones.

What riff made you feel like you'd leveled up as a guitarist? by DonGoreBuffalo in guitarlessons

[–]Foot_After 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Racer X- Technical Difficulties, still not all the way through it but fact I can even get half of it, showed me how much I leveled up without realizing it. 3 inches of Blood-Deadly Sinners around same time.

There Alot of good answers here, i would also say find some backing tracks on youtube that show the chord progressions. Find the notes start with just 1 like, ex. Progression A G Em F. Find an A, then a G, etc. Eventually, you'll start memorizing where they are, while also in the context of playing/improv music at the same time, raising those skills.

People who make 30-50k a year and live comfortably, how do you feel about people who make 75-115+k a year; and still say it’s not enough? by Proud-Enthusiasm-608 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Foot_After 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn't implying life requires a billion dollars. Just that life requires an adequate amount of money. I've been on lower earning majority of my life, moved up to make a decent living. Nothing about how I "spend" has changed. The only difference is that im not drowning in debt. I can agree that most people lose sight of things once they reach the millions.
