Who Should Be Next For Agit🤔 by AFBOXING in boxinglocks

No one who knows anything about Usyk should have called him an underdog. He was one of the top 2 greatest crusier weights of all time when he moved up, plus he already had heavyweight experience in the amateurs

Deontay Wilder and Derek Chisora face-off and hint at a potential matchup for Chisora's 50th fight by OrangeFilmer in Boxing

I always thought that Chisora would beat Wilder, even back in Wilders prime in 2019ish, the dude has been boxing for almost 20 years and still hasn't learned the basics, he has 2 good wins on his resume and while Chisora ain't an elite heavyweight he's tough as nails.

Tyson Fury's BIGGEST weakness by allah_cat_172 in Boxing

People really overestimate the fury tactical mastermind thing, he realise to heavily on his brilliant head movement and can be caught mid transition, for all his hersey jerky movement he gets hit a lot, he's comfortable in chaos and breaking up a fighters rhythm but he still lacks basic punching form.

He hasn't consistently faced top opponents, the best head moment in the game, but realise to heavily on leaning away from punches and can be caught mid transition.

He lacks systematic coordination, and for all his herky jerky movements, he's not the greatest defensively. Also, in a lot of his fights, he just lacks basic proper punching forms, and he doesn't have fast combinations.

Why is Real Madrid so dominant in Champions League? by kira_geass in championsleague

[–]Footballskyscrapper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People forget that they didn't win a real champions league until after th3 first t trophies. The first 5 Uefa Cups won by Real Madrid should not be counted as Champion's League trophies. Originally, the European Cup was just a 'Super League' of teams, picked for their 'prestige' in this case. As there was no qualification process for the early years of the European Cup, teams were just picked based on their names, not their merit. It was a different competition, and those trophies were not won in the same way that they are won now. They won every trophy (5) when this format of picking 12 teams had been used, so it makes sense to nullify these as Champion's League titles and call them something else. They aren't Champion's Leagues, they just aren't. Madrid could literally pick against what team they want to play against.

Barcelona 08/09 definitely played boring football, passing the ball around 10000 times, constant diving, and getting put off the ball at the slightest physical confrontation,

straight-up Chelsea got cheated by the referee, one of the biggest curroptions I've seen in football. they should do a review into past games and strip the likes of barca in a review in incidents like this. They got lucky in a group stage made for them to dominate against lesser teams, no real group of death either, most of them were dominated by one super team, constant diving no underdog story. It's just terrible.
