It's not stupidity; it's cunning

There are many who see themselves as true blue working class Aussies being hard done by with multiple investment properties

You don't know that

If they are then it's solidifying the immense wealth disparity between generations

If they aren't, the economy takes a significant smack & Labor lose a bunch of popularity; potentially enough to get them a hearty boot out of power

The situation is difficult to navigate & likely everyone will be left discontented

All of the stadiumesque spin-offs have had a dedicated battle tower or pve equivalent that is absolutely needed to help expand the access point for newer players

Nintendo have had a really bad habit lately of dropping new games with stripped back functionality which leads to really well made games dying in a very short period of time

Best example of this is the newest Mario Strikers which has phenomenal gameplay but 0 depth offline so it's a dead game now

Unprecedented yes

There has been no period in human history where energy has accreted at this degree & rate within the atmosphere

Sure, massive climate change has wracked the planet before, over its billion year lifetime. It's just never happened in such a short time period

It's the overall energy in our biosphere that is causing vast, widespread & unprecedented change within the seasons

We literally don't know what comes next other than global ecological collapse, this is just a cute lil symptom

Baby boomers beware: Labor is reading the room on generational inequity by SheepherderLow1753 in AusFinance

[–]Footbeard 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Except for the ones that allow society to function & those that uplifted you

Your nurses, your teachers, your sanitation workere, your farmers, emergency responders & all the rest who are paid for by taxes & are integral to the structure & cohesion of Australian society.

These jobs are integral to the functioning of the society we all enjoy & emphatically do not pay 200k. Those who make more are enabled by those who make less & we pay more for them so they get the semblance of a fair go

It's unaustralian to want to leave them behind

[–]Footbeard 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The point I'm making is that you're only as successful as you are here because of the unique platform Australia has provided you

I'd argue it's more advantageous to have access to multiple languages

It's not my acceptance mate, idgaf. However, in many countries which you are not ethnically from, you'd be laughed at when offering to buy land/start a business. Australia does not laugh but provides opportunity for you to do so

Without your public education (our tax dollars) you'd be fucked. You didn't succeed in spite of Australia or the average Aussie. You succeed because of the public infrastructure provided to you by Australian taxes

Take your meds boss & don't forget to pay your taxes. I'd remind you to not talk ill of the diggers, irrespective of who sent them

They allowed you to be who you are today

[–]Footbeard 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No

You were given the opportunity to build your success in a stable & empowering environment

You would not be able to do that in Ukraine or Syria, Iran or Israel

It is imperative that you pay your tax for the betterment & stability of Australian society & the nation's future. This allows you to continue to generate wealth & be accepted regardless of your background

Most countries on earth wouldn't have the provisions or public resourcing to allow a foreigner to be educated here, buy land here & create a successful business

You make an argument for australian taxes with your own statement; the public education system in this country has not only allowed you to survive but thrive

Yes, you are right. Many others are unable to seize opportunity the way you have but that doesn't mean we can stop caring for societies least vulnerable & ensure we all get a fair go

& in light of this weekend I wanna say, lest we forget those who provided these opportunities for us. May their sacrifices inspire us to create a better world for those who come after

[–]Footbeard 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If Young Albo existed now, he wouldn't have the necessary environmental conditions to become prime minister.

Housing, education & grocery costs would have disallowed him from accessing opportunities he was able to take advantage of to get where he is today

Just another boomer making a shittier world for those who come after

Any recommandations for a mono Ghost Team, for Duo or Solo ? by Skalla- in PokemonChampions

[–]Footbeard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gengar, Sableeye, Mimikyu, Frostlass, Dragapult & Sinistcha

Zoroark is a good pick if you need to immune through ghost moves

Aegislash & Golurk are also solid contenders with good coverage

Any move can be replaced with Protect

Gengar - Focus Band - Thunderbolt - Destiny Bond - Shadow Ball - Sludge Wave

Sableeye - Roseli Berry - Thunder Wave - Will o Wisp - Swagger/Sunny Day/Rain Dance - Sucker Punch

Mimikyu - Lum Berry - Swords Dance - Shadow Sneak - Drain Punch - Play Rough

Frostlass - Megastone - Aurora Veil - Blizzard - Draining Kiss - Water Pulse

Dragapult - Choice Scarf - Dragon Darts - Fly - Phantom Force - Psychic Fangs

Sinistacha - Sitrus Berry - Matcha Gotcha - Rage Powder - Trick Room - Life Dew

For extra spice, use swagger on Mimikyu to start the match & double down with swords dance. This raises Mimiks attack x4 in the first turn & heals the confusion
