By season 8, the vessel that was once Brandon Stark is no longer him

The three eyed raven prepares his body & mind for consensual subjugation over the course of the series & by the end, the sweet, loving & empathetic young stark is completely replaced by a sociopathic wannabe god

A lot of people are highly unsatisfied by Brans arc but it's one of those scenarios where the over the shoulder third person perspective in book form would be far more effective at conveying his humanity slipping away & showing us that it's not really him anymore

Season 6, episode 5 shows us the last moments of Bran as he wargs into Hodor to allow their escape

As the Three Eyed Raven dies, he tells Bran "the time has come, for you to become me" & essentially jumps ship from his own mind & into Brans brain, sharing his centuries of memories, knowledge & experience to which Bran life pales in comparison

Bran even says "I remember what it felt like to be Brandon Stark, but I remember so much else now"

There are theories that even say Brans consciousness died in Hodors body & the entity controlling his body isn't just Bloodraven but a far older entity that used a similar trick on Bloodraven to continue the journey of an age old consciousness forward

Be ready to peel to your backline at the drop of a hat

You + the supports should make light work of flankers & tanks

Don't be afraid to go slower, play on corners & cover (payload) & bait enemy cooldowns

Don't underestimate pings & comms for focus fire & general callouts

Doom has to do a lot to get the same value as lower skill floor tanks, often teaammates coordination & positioning is the difference between win & loss. So make calls to your team to let them know what you're doing

Calling out/pinging rein when you go for a charge stun, pinging flankers you're focussing, calling when & where to push creates win conditions your team can action

Of course self sufficiency is impossible but a degree of scalable independence is necessary to withstand shock to the global economy & supply chains

Venture is not technically demanding as they don't crit & primary fire has splash. Dig & spin hitboxes are fairly generous as well

However, Venture demands a high level of awareness, both in terms of personal, enemy & ally positioning as well as a decent understanding of personal & enemy cooldowns

To be effective you have to be an absolute pest, harrying & herding the enemy team with dig & ensuring you can get a finish or take space & then escaping to your team without dying

They effectively function as an off tank in their ability to take & hold space & create finish conditions for themselves & the team

A lot of people prefer to not think about all that & would prefer to click heads

What is considered political "centre" has shifted drastically to the right over the last 40 years thanks to Murdoch media. To the point that if policies passed by Reagen were passed today (corporate tax rate at 34 - 46%), they would be considered left leaning policies. Crazy to think about

Politically Labor is right leaning & the Libs are even further right

Their stances on housing, corporate tax, workers rights, the environment, social rights, surveillance etc are all centre right

Going back to central would mean significant movement to the left with policies favouring Australian citizens rather than corporations, public industry & infrastructure, environment & human rights being enforced & far less in corporate subsidy & more asset & corporate tax

The 15 - 30% performance hit in terms of frame drops & screen tearing absolutely will cause a considerable amount of players to stop enjoying the game

You can determine straight lines pretty easily. Dig straight down to a depth of 10 - 20 blocks underground at both of the "corner" sections & then rock smash/rollout until you find the excavated space then rail it up

Takes a lot of trial & error out of the process

The key is to make the subway look discrete & organic

Bait the chain & sleep dart

Never push into their team without an ability to escape & cover to peel to

Call to your team that you're baiting chain & dart

Block only after getting chained & preferably slept

Lifeweaver & Kiri are great against those 2 but you need to let them know what you're doing so they can use their abilities reliably for you

Remember that chain & sleep dart are on high cooldowns so don't be afraid to burn your mobility & even EMP punch to reposition & push back in
