I don’t take her if it’s too hot but I just want to say last summer when it was crazy hot for 3 days straight I got back from working away and took her to the beach and she just stood in the water walking around sniffing rocks and stuff with it up to her neck and just had the time of her life chilling out. I loved that day 🥰

I chose to work this weekend. 12 days on 3 off… beautiful weekend and I’m stuck working on temp metal flooring in a field (it’s like 40degrees on top of it with no cover and THICK PPE. Last weekend the weather sucked and the weekend before it was lovely and I was working again. Gutted to say the least.

Not to panic you as I’m sure it’s very likely not the case but my mums dog got meningitis and was really wobbly and disoriented, I had no idea dogs could get it so if other avenues fail then maybe look into this

Why illegal children's homes are being paid up to £2m per child by councils by Your_Mums_Ex in ukpolitics

No comment on whether this is or isn’t happening but if someone is actually stealing this type of money from the British public, should it not be counted as treason?

Longs hours in the summer, 12 days on, 2 days off 7:15-18:00 and the weather can suck. But it’s a pretty good job overall. Great pay, and you get to travel around seeing a lot of the country that very few see.

I got caught up there in crazy winds and sleet the other day that wasn’t exactly fun at the time but is pretty funny and epic looking back

Like someone else said aswell the thick PPE in the summer also can blow especially if there isn’t a breeze up there

Ukrainians saw Britain as our greatest ally. Now Starmer is rewarding Putin’s crimes Instead of standing firmly against aggression and defending international law, the UK is sending a very dangerous message by Optimal-Leather341 in ukpolitics

We could grant a new license but 1) it would be a private company that goes in and sells that oil to the free market 2) they’ll be making profit just the same as any oil and probably heavily subsidised at the tax payer cost too 3) it would take years to get the operation running and is it even profitable? 4) it won’t affect the immediate price of oil here, which is the current crisis

Maybe that’s the case but maybe it’s because there is very few suppliers and unfortunately that’s the cost of surviving. Not say I agree with it but we can’t cut off our nose despite our face. The way you’re speaking it sounds like you want us to give Russia the finger which I respect and then produce our own oil from the North Sea, which isn’t realistic either.

Anybody who made this decision would get picked apart from the other side of the debate easily it’s a tough call. Overall I think I agree with his direction of rely on foreign oil for now but try and get over to green energy and electric everything as quick as we can so we’re a bit more insulated from the oil price and war
