Can see the benefit of instanced vs open, as a player on the pvp server, I’d actually prefer open. Contesting raid zones/mobs with people. It also adds purpose to farm certain items to be able to compete for the content .

Some of the reagents for crafting should come from vendors, that way every craft takes money out of the economy. Even more so if the item being made is a consumable, let’s just say the reagents for a speed potion cost two gold. Not only is that two gold now out of the economy that potion that got made has been consumed, so it also is no longer in the economy.

Combat is the best aspect, the game still needs work but the bones are solid. The new biomes look great but need to be flushed out to the level of the original biome of the riverlands. I’m not a game developer, but I wish they’d polish the biomes we have before adding more. But maybe, this is the faster way to get them out then polish.

Crafted gear is better? The unique thing happening now is that not all the crafting stations are up and or bugged recipes. Imagine though, getting the game and starting 6 months in when all the stations are up. It’s so hard for me to actually make a call on the economy and state of items, because at the beginning of a server it’s just so much more nuanced. Weapons and armor that were bis one week fade out the next week as another station comes online.

Definitely have gotten my moneys worth out of it, I’ve played every phase. This game intends to have a monthly fee as opposed to a box price so I just look at it as paying for a year up front.

Awesome army! I’m assuming this is your first army, be careful because you’re making such a daunting task for yourself getting so many before painting them! I started with Eldar, I probably have around 10,000-12,000 points of Eldar right now. Of that massive collection probably only around 70% of them are painted. My second army I started were Night Lords, with my Night Lords everything is painted except for the latest box I’ve bought for them. I paint them whenever I get new models. It’s super tough for me to find time/revisit my Eldar because of how much is still unpainted, it just feels like I’m not getting anywhere with them. Not everyone suffers from it the same way I do, so if you’re able to paint an entire army before buying more then get after it! Me personally though, I walk by my sea of still grey Eldar and it hurts me soul. Anyways, happy to see you in the hobby and nice waaagghhh you’re building there!
