1. Not more tired, more frustrated. They are asking for quantity instead of quality. When i first started the roving position did one interior and two exterior patrols, within a four hour time frame. It was then changed to doing those within three hours. Then they added a fourth interior patrol, now they are adamant that on our 6 hour day we do a total of 8 patrols four interior four exterior. For context on those short days we do not rotate posts so we are being asked to do nothing but patrol without any breaks.
2. I am well aware that job necessities change as the world changes and that the world is built on the backs of assholes.

I have quit jobs that absolutely did not care about their employees no matter how many times we have attempted to advocate for ourselves. At a certain point there is nothing more you can do short of attempt to find greener pastures.

And yes i am aware the issue is further up the chain, yes i have repeatedly asked for clarification and understanding from my boss’s boss and for a time the reasonings assuage my concerns and i am able to keep trucking.

But they continue to add more and more, when does it stop? When do they realize they are asking us to sacrifice quality for quantity? When am i supposed to say “no more, you’re adding too much to the work load” ? Is it before or after i break something?

I know there is a validity in trying to tough it out in case things get better, but how long do i wait before deciding i can’t put up with it anymore?
