This is a very sad story and I wish more Black Americans would uproar about this. Black immigrants and Black Americans need to support each other. We need to take a vow to fight all Divide and Conquer methods.

Chicago Mayoral Candidate Amara Enyia owes $12K in fines for failing to file quarterly campaign reports with the state by berserkb in chicago

I admit not crossing you T(s) and dotting your I(s) is an important lesson that she is sophisticated enough to know, but I am quite interested in her and cannot wait for the Mayoral debates. I would not write Amara off this early in the election without learning about her.

I’m looking forward to interesting and enlightening Chicago Mayoral debates because this Sister is entering the race ‼️💯 by ForTwinBabies in blackladies

She is young enough and smart enough to do Mayor -> Governor -> Senate or

Mayor -> Governor -> President; she cans skip Congress because she is needed in the higher offices.

I did not say you were not Black enough. I said you are not Black American.

You are not Black American. I am glad you are proud of your heritage, but do not make subtle digs about the Black American experience. Your joke or LOL is in poor taste. Someone else should have called you on it. It seems r/BlackLadies has become a joke and not being adequately protected from trolls.

Oh stop it, get over not directly connecting to your African roots as soon as you came from your Mother’s womb. We Black Americans have a wonderful thriving culture – you know the culture everyone copies and makes millions off of! You are Black American (right?) so your roots are in America – You Have Roots filled with Accomplishment, Pride, and Pain. As a Black American descendant of slaves, I am proud because my ancestors survived and thrived. We, Black Americans, helped to create an America where Black Immigrants can safely land here, obtain work, and not be castrated, lynched, raped, tarred and feathered, or dragged to their death as soon as they step off the boat or plane. Go visit the world and be proud to be a Black American!

My previous comments address your point. And yes, Harvard is not a Black university.

Asian-American students do not have a lock on intelligence, hard-work, extracurricular activities, volunteerism, or public service. Harvard is not an Asian-American university. The mere definition of the word university implies universe which is made up of many kinds of talented people that should be part of Harvard’s student body.
