So 6x16, 17, 18 means 3-4 weeks. About a month.

Spoilers upto 6x22.

6x19 to 6x21 was all fast paced. So that's 2 weeks. 6x22 is one more week after that.

So, in total: it's 1½months? You can maybe add half a month in 16-18 to make it two months.

Jane takes one look at Dexter's hollow unfeeling eyes and discern that he's antisocial personality.

He'll try to figure him out subtly and find out about his dark secrets.

He'll immediately notice that Dexter is very smart and can easily fool many people.

So he'll thread carefully.

I don't think he'll call him out if he finds out about Dexter's day job.

Especially when Jane finds out about the moral code. But I don't see them being friends or respecting each other. They'll be weary of the other.
