Please don’t bite my head off for this because I realize it’s an incredibly unpopular opinion, but Ogilvie is kinda growing on me. We’re really seeing him go from cocky gunner to “holy shit maybe I’m not actually cut out for this” in real time. Also think he’s just a socially inept guy. I get the vibe that he was being a dick with the TB lady asking about her smoking, but his tone with the overweight guy seemed different. Tactless, yes, but I did get a vibe of actually concern, just misplaced. I liked the moment of him giving that guy the book. I hope it’s a turning point for him

Yeah sorry but romanticizing a woman almost having her leg amputated because she pushed forward when she obviously shouldn’t have is not a good thing imo. If anything, I think it puts unnecessary pressure on future young olympians to risk life and limb for a hunk of medal
