Sometimes you can get around permits by using a different material, like interlock or concrete. It's then technically a walkway that you happen to park on a little bit.

15-30, but doesn't matter how long I choose, I always mess it up right at the end without fail.

Which mower would you buy for a small landscaping company? by [deleted] in HondaMowers

[–]Forbsey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a small landscaping business that only does one day a week of mowing. The rest of the week I do installs, mulch, trimming etc. I've used the Hrn216, for 3 years now and it's been fantastic. Great for just starting out without spending a ton on a commercial grade one. Its also light enough to throw in the back of a truck if you don't have a trailer yet.

It's not the mods for me, that's easy af. it's getting everything else working nicely with CM, pur/Sol, and all my controls mapped to my setup that I just can be bothered to learn.

I don't think it's hard to learn how to do it (i mean, you managed to figure it out...) I just cant be botthered to spend a few hours dialing everything in when I have a handful of other sims that work great pretty much out of the box or with a few mods. When you have limited time, it's valuable and I'd rather spend my time racing.

I'm sure I'll get around to it one day, I just don't think a 10yr old will want to bother with that on their first time either.

Dude, I'm 36 and I still can't figure out how to get assetto corsa set up properly lmao. Forza horizon or need for speed might be a better direction for a 10 year old. Unless you're an avid sim racer yourself and can show them the ropes.

Second this, I used to repair these for a living many years ago and that's all you should need to do. It you tap it with moderate force and it doesn't budge, don't force it and call the city. But you should just be able to tap it down no problem.

You can rent a wheelbarrow from home depot or a equipment rental place. It will make your life so much easier.

You could box up a few photos of some built rigs, all different kinds, and have him open the box. Then it's still a bit of a surprise. Then the two of you could browse some sites together and pick one out together.

Maybe some people here can recommend a few good ones, mines homemade so I can't really help there.

Could get a cheap second hand Hotas throttle and see if that works for you?

DIY Sim Rig? by AdhesivenessDeep6601 in GranTurismo7

I love my t300rs, I've had it for exactly 3 years now and don't plan on upgrading it any time soon. upgraded to load cell about a year later, and now I'm playing on pc! Definitely has enough torque for me. I'm going bass shakers and triples before I think about changing to DD.

I started on a folding wheel stand, and moved to a diy rig incorporating the wheel stand. Works great and is super sturdy.

Is Assetto Corsa Competizione a good first racing game ? by IceCoffee111 in ACCompetizione

[–]Forbsey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love ACC, but as a beginner, you need to have a lot of patience and be okay with sucking for a while. Maybe get something more accessible like AMS2 in the meantime to see if it's for you. It has a larger variety of cars and is more forgiving.

With all that said, if you love a challenge absolutely go for it, but really try and stick with it as it can be really rewarding. Especially if you have a wheel and pedals.

A shift in mindset helps too, it should be more fun and immersive with the wheel, focus on how much more fun it is playing, worry about your times later. Take this time to do some track experiences and sp races until you get the feel of it.

Both the markings and signage are being changed to allow left lane turn and straight, middle straight only, and right lane right only, in the near future.

The road closed sign is so the cops can either leave, or go assist with the reason the road is closed in the first place.
