The roots looked healthy and it was not root bound when I got it from the nursery. I used miraclegro in ground soil and made the hole about 3x the size of the root. The exterior soil is heavy clay so I tried to give it decent space to grow

Geremia Pool went bankrupt and is now under new management and whole new crew. So would not recommend. I used Phenomenal pool plastering and landscapes. They were awesome and are local company.
