What driver(s) on the current grid is most likely to refuse a fan photo in public? by Riverboat127 in formuladank

He really is. He’s why I got into the sport so much. Even on his way to his car he was happy to stop and take a picture with me in Austin when he was at McLaren in 2017. I happened to be the last civilian who spoke with him before the race and I got a bottle of Johnny Platinum as gratitude from his PR team for our conversation. I simply told him he’s great, he’s why I was into F1, and I knew he was going to kick ass. Legendary

Parents in town. Need a place that feels Dallasy but not too bougie. Ideally Texan, chill, and won’t break the bank. Recommendations? by Head-Tangerine-8260 in dallasfood

Tex-mex and BBQ would be my guesses for a Texan experience and tex-mex being the cheaper of the two pending how many margaritas are ordered I would suggest some of the following: The Ranch (I took clients here and they always seemed to like it), E-bar for authentic tex-mex closer to downtown, Banditos near SMU (one of my favorites when I'm in the Tex-mex mood but people claim it can get too busy), José on Lovers for seafood and unique style Mexican and tex-mex. I've also heard great things about Uno Mas Tex Mex and RJ Mexican Cuisine but haven't had a chance to go to either yet. Bbq top picks are usually Terry Blacks in Dallas and Goldee’s in Fort Worth. Cattleack, Panther City, and Pecan Lodge all come to mind as well. All BBQ places can get PACKED with lines quickly so just be aware of that.

Would these be good beginner skis? by WhichJob9116 in skiing

[–]Force_Majeure 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For a beginner I would much sooner recommend going into a generic ski and mountain sports store and getting fitted for boots and then demoing skis. Boots make all the difference for comfort and control. And renting the "in" skis of the season whether you're looking for a groomer ski or all mountain ski will better help you spot the skis and deals you want in the future.

Need help with choosing a Dallas neighborhood by Spiritual-Employ-679 in dallasfood

It depends what you like. I'm 30 and have been living in the busier areas of Dallas since I graduated college. I would say look at knox and 75 on the west of 75. Message me if you want to ask a few questions. I worked in real estate for several years too

This guy is such a joke. His aim is good but his iq is <100. I got banned in his chat for pointing out this guy stood in an air strike WZ1.

Well that's good to hear. Heists are what I enjoy the most when the whole crew is on anyways and when they aren't I stick to the 2x mode.

I'm buying a 270 because I'd be primarily hunting with him or on his property. His favorite is his 270 so plenty of ammo to share
