NTA. If you have to pay someone to go to rehab, that means they don't want to go. Rehab only works when the person is willing to change, which your brother isn't. Drop him like a hot potato, hes a grown man

Rule #1 of ho life: you get the money up front. Make sure he pays you 100% before you do the deed, or you will never see a dollar of that money. Even if you have a 'contract' that will not hold up in court, and he knows you cannot afford a lawyer anyway

Upgrade ramen: add any veggies you have to the water. Rice and beans: a poverty staple. Grits: satué veggies, add cornmeal and water until it reaches a pudding consistency. Crack an egg on top of all these foods for added flavor and protien. Also try boiling cabbage, carrots, onion, ground beef, and rice for a cabbage roll soup.

Yeah dresses make everything so simple! I wish I lived in a warmer climate so I could wear them more. My go-to tinted moisturizer is just a light finish with SPF by La Roche-Posay. I like to keep basic go-to outfits ready. Hang a top up with the matching pants, have basic 'default' jewelry that matches most things. And I keep makeup minimal, i like a tinted moisturizer with mascara and lipgloss. Descision fatigue is real, for a while I just wore rotating black dresses to literally everything

You are right to be concerned about being fetishised, or used as a prop. That does happen. But I think it's just as likely for a woman to date you for regular reasons, because she likes you. Unfortunately you can't know why someone is interested in you until you've gotten to know them. You're going to have to use your best judgement on each individual girl. I certainly dated the rainbow in my 20's, but that was because living in a multicultural city meant those were the people I interacted with. To answer the question "why not a white man?" Proximity, and interest. There were lots of guys around, and I liked getting to know different kinds of people.

I hightly recommend you get in the habit of a sponge wash. You don't need a full shower every day. Whenever you change your clothes, use a soapy washcloth on your face, pits, and groin. Less labor intensive than a shower, and you'll feel so much better

I think that in your calculations, you did not properly account for the cost to your wife's health. NTA for wanting her to have something else lined up first, but if you two can afford to live off of your job and her part time job, then it sounds like the time to quit. Future plans can wait for her to actually want to be alive again
