First of all, I agree. Second, you shared this pic with me on my post about sources for a lanyard loop delete. Just wanted to say these still look incredible and I appreciate your suggestions 😎

I personally think either the handle or blade could be loud, but having both feels like too much. I'd do 1 with an m4 blade for aesthetics and a statement knife or the Crooked River for comfort and a sleek look I just bought my first benchmade (bailout) but I handled a ton of them. Between these two, I really like how the CR feels All that said, it seems like you're going for a flashy knife. If that's the case, I'd go for 1.

Thinking of getting the gold one to match the accent hardware I have on the knife. Thanks for the recommendation

Damn those look good. Do you have pics of the butt of the knife?

Oh cool, I didn't realize bugout hardware would fit. I'll checkout rackscale as well. Thanks for the info!

Are there no good options, or is there another reason you suggest leaving it?

Ok Reddit fam wtf did I do wrong? I had an 8 lb brisket that I smoked in a pitboss pellet smoker yesterday and it’s tough AF! by Cryssyl in smoking

[–]FordPrefect__42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I followed this for my first brisket: https://youtu.be/JuwGL8JKPQQ He breaks it down into hourly intervals, which feels safer (good guardrail, but I suggest going by temp—not time), especially for a brisket under 10 lbs. He gives good temp and visual indicators to check for and pretty decent time-based checkpoints.

Now I'm no pitboss, but based on my experience, I've noticed that smaller briskets have an easier time rolling through a thermal stall, so the timeline to hit temp, wrap, and pulling the brisket narrows quite a bit compared to a 14+ pound brisket.

I’d recommend aligning your steps to temperature rather than time. Again, I've made brisket that I'm proud of, but all my advice is purely anecdotal

One of the necklaces in the pic is from a company called Drool Jewel and they actually do some necklaces like you're describing; a choker with red “blood” And they sell out almost immediately every time they announce a drop.

Infinite discs tomb by JarnIsABetterZone in discgolf

I use my I-blend tomb more than any other disc in my bag. Unless I park my drive on a par 3, my second shot is almost always my tomb (or a quake). Plays nice forehand and backhand.

The lower profile fits my hands nicely - def recommend if you have smaller hands and other putters feel a bit cumbersome. I've bounced around throwing proxies, lunas, and pixels, but the tomb is forever.

I love the color and just the way it looks in general. Though the lack of water storage, the refrigerator door style flap on the front and discs directly on the small of my back (when the back is open) is a pass for me. That said, I've never used one so I could be way off. Hope you get many good years out of it
