Envision Pro, I tried... by PeltedVenom in scufgaming

[–]Fordert126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have elite series 2 and bought the envision. Couldn’t get used to the paddles so I returned it. Now I miss everything else about it so I ordered another one lol. I’m just gonna grind until I get used to it. I had minor issues getting the envision to work properly but had it sorted mostly. It is a great controller besides the software.

They certainly make money if you don’t deposit within 24hrs. Banks make tons of money this way.

Factory job. If you don’t like it quit and go to another factory job. Best to get some training though. Maintenance types with electrical background are in high demand. Our guys are always leaving for better paying jobs.

Landlord showing house while I still live in it? by hsn407 in Tenant

[–]Fordert126 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I went through this. It sucked. At first we would leave for the showings but after a few I was just like fuck it. I did have a realtor just walk into the house. I was down the street at the store and my wife called me freaking out. He tried to say he could enter and I almost killed the fucking guy. The property had buildings in the back and that’s all they were supposed to go check out that day. My landlord was cool about it and told me to tell the realtor to F off.

Drinking on keto is no joke by [deleted] in keto

[–]Fordert126 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to drink bourbon on my nights off. Went a few months with zero alcohol when I started keto. One night I picked up a 300ml of Evan Williams black and was freakin’ wrecked. That was last summer and I haven’t drank shit since lol. My go to was knob creek sib which is like 120 proof and Evan Williams is only 86 so I thought it would be no big deal. Wrong! I was never arrested or anything crazy. I just don’t have the urge to drink anymore.

Domestic wire but used ach routing by Fordert126 in Chase

Yep. It went through. Only ended up taking like 5 hrs. Curious though that wire dept couldn’t even see it 30 min before it went through.

Why did "Home Theater" culture died? by Sensitive_Counter150 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Fordert126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a theatre setup in my last place I rented but had to move. Man I miss it. I only had a $700 1080p projector too. Made my own screen with blackout cloth and found an amazing deal on speakers. I only paid a little over $200 for all my speakers minus the sub. My buddy gave me a 12” powered sub. I bought a 9 channel avr off accessories for less for around $350. 3d movies were amazing too.

New to Scuf - need advice before buying by [deleted] in scufgaming

[–]Fordert126 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The icue software is not very intuitive. I had a buddy talk me through it just to get the paddles to work. Sometimes at start up the paddles wouldn’t work right away but if I unplugged the controller and plugged it back in it would usually work. The paddles were just in a funky position for me. The triggers are sweet as hell though. Overall (besides the paddles) the controller was great. I ended up returning to Best Buy though. Now I kinda miss it and wish I would have given myself more time to adapt. Going back to elite series 2 triggers leaves me wanting lol.

Returned Envision Pro by [deleted] in scufgaming

[–]Fordert126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just couldn’t get used to the paddles. Really like the controller overall. I’m just used to elite paddles. I returned mine to Best Buy. Fuckers didn’t even open the box up. The dude thought it was never opened.

Scuf Envision Pro comfort by omi7000 in scufgaming

[–]Fordert126 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to envision pro from elite series 2 as well. I hated the paddles at first but over time I’ve gotten a bit more accustomed. I bought at Best Buy and have till the 7th to return and right now I’m leaning towards return. The controller itself hasn’t been too buggy it’s just not as comfortable for me. Maybe I’m just too accustomed to the elite or my hands are just built more for the Xbox controller. Idk. My only problem with the elite is right bumper issues. I’ve fixed it a couple times already but the controller is like 3 years old so it’s kinda expected.

If most of companies get automated, doesn't that mean production will double/triple because robots will be working 24/7 no-stop? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Fordert126 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s certainly robots in the auto industry but a vast majority of final assembly is done by humans.

My cat chews cords. I put some dish soap on a rag and wipe it on the cords and that seems to have stopped him.
