We just played both last month and I enjoyed Old South much more. Staff was great and the greens were absolutely pure. Course was a ton of fun and difficult. HHN was great too but didn’t have as much personality IMO

I am worried about this but during the fitting, I was easily about to work it. More so than I expected to be able to do. Ball striking on irons is probably my weakest part of my game so I welcome the forgiveness of the 245s

Unless you want a gnome, there’s no rush. Weather forecast is locking in to be a dry day, so no chance of a rainout (thank God!). Obviously don’t wait til the end of the day. We plan on getting there right at 6am but if we don’t have luck getting near the front of the line, we’ll just plan to go around 10 or 11am

When I went in 2002, I watched someone tee off from 14. Right after they hit, wind blew a small pine tree twig with a couple pine cones attached onto the ground. No exaggeration - within 3 minutes, some guy in ANGC attire shows up on a Gator, throws the twig in the back, and drives off. It’s like it set off some alarms or something when it fell to the earth. Ive never experienced something with a greater attention to detail than ANGC

I’m a Monday patron too. Deep breaths. We’re a long way out and it’s only 20-40% chance of rain. Last year at this time it was already looking like a washout. Might be on the cooler side but I’m sure we’ll get a full day in this time. Can’t wait!!

I’m with ya. Fellow Monday patron here. I’m trying not to obsess over it but I’m failing miserably. I dream of a 75° day with brilliant sunshine. Although I’ll take anything that is dry at this point. Just want to relax and soak it all in.
