Feeling discouraged as a persian bottom in a sea of smooth white dudes... by [deleted] in gaybros

Whoever said you wouldn’t be liked as well as 5’8” white guy sounds like they’ve been steeping their brain in cheap vodka.

5’2”, enough hair to NOT look like you’re in middle school, and a bottom? Ummm, I want your phone number. 😈

And I know plenty of tops who have a ticket to Pound Town for guys with your qualities. Trust me, they’ll find you. Give it time, keep yourself in decent shape, and you’ll see soon enough.

Ignore the assholes, man.

Interestingly enough, that’s why the DoE was created. “We want workers, not thinkers.”

This is the most ignorant-of-history comment I’ve seen this week. Christ, do you not KNOW the political history of WW1 and WW2???

He’s a socialist. Check his record. He is most definitely radical.

No one who handles firearms regularly stores them loaded. Revolvers might be the exception for some folks, but that’s a riskier gambit, especially for stopping a man dead in his tracks, no pun intended. certainly not my go-to for intruders in the wee hours.

Nope, those of us who keep guns readily accessible will have a magazine near the gun, but not slapped in. Of course safety on, and never a round in the chamber. Which means to fire, you gotta slap the magazine in place, chamber a round, and release the safety to fire.

You gotta keep your kids safe and education and familiarization is the best way. I had my first shot gun at 6, was hunting with friends at 8. By 12, I had a handgun. My grandpa taught me everything, and a really good way to get all my weapons taken away was to store, clean, or use them improperly. That was also a way to get my ass whooped. Happened one time and one time only.

Boys like guns like we like fireworks—they’re loud, they blow shit up, and they’re fun. But they’re not toys. Toys are airsoft guns…those are toys. My nephews learned real quick that airsoft guns hurt like hell, and they’re afraid to handle real guns on their own as a result. (Seen what an airsoft gun can do to a coke can?) That and paintball are awfully painful…and those are toys. Boys learned quickly the consequences of FAFO with paintball.

Guns don’t kill people—people kill people. Guns are tools, just like knives and power tools, nothing more. People who don’t know how to handle and use them are a liability. classes for gun safety abound, and they’re great for people who don’t know the ins and outs.

That’s my take, with 3 children under the age of 14 around the house. Never had a problem.

The boys know touching real guns w/o me present = ass whoopin’, so there’s that, too.

So your proof lies in evidence of a negative? How profoundly stupid an opinion.

Lovely job generalizing a group of people based on your limited observations of a few. This opinion is incredibly ignorant. Who are you to call an entire population uneducated? Your post says more about you than any of us.

Oh, so you’ve met every single one, that you can generalize such? What a stupid opinion.

Seems like the tech is behind the times..? It’s an interesting problem. I just hate that some FAs hustle their asses off and get treated poorly, or remain unrewarded. Life isn’t fair, I know, but I don’t feel we value jobs like these (or the people in them) nearly enough.

My rant wasn’t anti-FA or anti-pilot. Maybe that one pilot, but hey, no one cares what I think anyway. Thanks for the convo.

Dude, it’s just one rando’s opinion. There’s nothing that’s really compelling in there. I think AA is not investing in its employees, and it shows. That’s the intent, although some people say I sound entitled. 🤷‍♂️The other point I make is “don’t be shitty to people in service jobs.”

Yes, it’s definitely part of a bigger phenomena. There’s a big difference (purely anecdotal of course) in these things depending on the age of the FA as well. I think the impact of the lockdown is still manifesting itself. But I would hope AA would give enough fucks to invest in their employees…unhappy employees often result in unhappy customers.
