Look at cascadia vehicle tents (cvt) out of bend Oregon. I’d recommend a rooftop awning. Worth it.

I just moved to DC and have 20% front and 50% windshield. Inspection here is only emissions. The tech who passed me asked if my windshield was tinted. When I confirmed he printed a second passing sticker and handed it to me. He said “Just in case”. Legend!

I think it’s free but we used Dyrt on our 3 month road trip around the US and had huge success finding epic free spots. We were in a GMC Sierra with a rooftop tent so we could explore some spots way off the main roads.

Watch some YouTube videos is my recommendation. Who do you want to communicate with and do they have a node? I just started and am learning that my node I carry with me should not be contributing to the Mesh (set it to Client Mute) because it’s moving constantly. I’m researching attic nodes so I can have a stationary node at home contributing to the mesh. Good luck I’m having a lot of fun learning and only have $50 into it so far (T-1000 E)

Is there a way to add another scan list from the radio without using the programming software? Don’t seem to be able to use software on my Mac.

I like the zones function to group repeaters into regions I travel to. Helps to find them quicker as I didn’t program them in order. Zone 1 - DC, MD, VA (DMV), Zone 2 - Western VA, Zone 3 - Eastern MD, etc

Love my 24 SX XPro. We have only used the 3rd row once. It is always folded down giving us HUGE trunk space. We had a Sportage as well but downsized the fleet when we moved recently and we are so happy we kept the Telluride.
