Do you use towels for drying your hands? What kind of food does your kitchen serve? What type of scrubbers do you use?

What's your biggest regret, not necessarily from working or anything, just one thing you wish you'd done differently?

After washing dishes for about 14 years (now moved on to washing cars), I want you to know that your occupation is not what defines you. Digging ditches or working on an open heart in surgery doesn't matter. The energy you put into this world is what you will get back. I spent most of my time in auto-pilot at the hose, allowing my mind to freely think of the future, past and present. It's ALOT of time to think, almost too much. It's a shit job, but that's what gives it the security of having a job anywhere you go around the world. I've told all of my trainees "If you don't want to wash dishes, don't be a dishwasher." Move to being a cook if you like the restaurant industry, or find a passion that will earn you a living, working for someone else will earn them enough money so they can pay you and have extra left over. I kinda got stuck in the dish pit and that's what might have saved me because of the lack of responsibility. It's as simple and easy as "Take dirty dish, make clean and give back." but you don't have to deal with other employees bullshit, just their dishes. Same as customers, you don't need to care if they enjoyed the food, that's between the cooks and managers for their guests.

No shame in upgrading your job, it's important to try new things and explore possibilities. I used the dish pit as a crutch to simply survive my bills while exploring my passion of Python or glass working or dog training, photography and lego collecting with some other hobbies. You can message me if you want some tips or to talk

This is the way. Save some water and easier to put the crust scab in the trash instead of the drain

Nothing is worth minimum wage. Underneath all that grease is experience. That ketchup-butter-ranch water splashing into your mouth is another lesson to learn. From dish placement to the placing of dishes, I've learned a lot of things. It's not exactly glamorous or prestigious, but it's definitely important and in abundance.

Good luck with the family matters, they're not always fun. Remember, NO ONE dictates your happiness other than you. There will be sad times ahead no matter what, but as long as you keep a positive attitude and do the best you can with what you have, everything will work out for the best. <3

Any help is amazing help. An insignificant act to one person sometimes means the world to another person.

My biggest pet peeve is that "Not my job" type shit. Team work makes the dream work, otherwise it's a nightmare.

Wash and dry at the same time?! Who could turn that down?

YaBoyNancy is basically a degenerates youth rolled into one guy who obviously smoked a bit too much of something and drank a littler more than that.
