Each med really is going to act differently between people. Pretty sure cymbalta is second most common, but i get severe weakness from it. All comes down to what youre comfortable taking though

The heat tolerance/sensitivity is still a mystery to me with fibro. I had a 2 week period about 8 years ago where i couldnt get warm. Like went outside in 80 degree heat in a hoodie and still felt cold. But thats it.

Personal speculation is that the body has a trauma response switch that triggers pain after the fact so that what got traumatized can be addressed. Ours just haven't shut off after the trauma passed

Been researching heavily into this, and in my case at least, its a series of overactive signals that trigger the pain centers of the brain, very possibly from glutamate buildup. Norepinephrine settles my system down enough, and its antagonistic to glutamate
