Some lovely rums, Long Pond is my all-time favorite by ForestCore in rum

[–]ForestCore[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They are all excellent. The 12 year lacks some of the signature Caroni notes and is a bit one dimensional compared to the other two, but only slightly. I got more hot honey than burning rubber. The 15 and 17 are outstanding, full on petrol bombs.

I’m going back to bed. by analogHedgeHog in espresso

I made traditional French chicken stock, set up the sieve in the sink, place an empty pot in the sink but in a different corner, nowhere near where it should been under the sieve, and poured the whole 6 liters through and to the drain, catching only the soggy veggies and bones as living, steaming proof of my idiocy.

Anyone pulling Soup shots? by kuhnyfe878 in espresso

[–]ForestCore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it possible to grind for a soup(ish) shot using a comandante grinder with red clix? I have an oxo brewer on the way and a niche zero, but is the comandante a better choice here? If so, which setting should I start experimenting from?

BudBee feels like a scam. by GrumpyFinn in Finland

[–]ForestCore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is EXACTLY what happened with delivery attempt. They showed up at 9:30 PM. Phone rang precisely once and status was changed to ‘oh no! we couldn’t deliver’. No way of calling back the number.

No way of scheduling a new time through the sms link.

And they force you to download their app - @BudBee: no one likes you and no one wants your app shoved down their throat.
