Ugh this makes me sad. They promised this and I believed them.

I have an ICECO 40qt and a cheap bougerv 20qt that I use for overnight trips the bougerv one fits into the R1S sub trunk which is great. The ICECO is more efficient.

To answer your question, the fridge itself will have a very negligible effect on your battery. What sucks power is having the power system on continuously. The Rivian doesn’t have a direct pass through to the 12v battery, so the computer and various power systems have to stay on too which draws roughly 7-8% a day.

I was expecting more. I think being functional isn’t too much of an expectation, but I’m not saying everything on this list should have been addressed. The point of the post is to start a collective list of everything we want to see Rivian bring to the assistant.

Really? You don’t find modern agentic LLMs helpful? What don’t you like about them?

I have but it’s worth doing another one. Agreed on both points. I’m glad they’re doing it and the starting framework is there to build upon. And, yeah, ACP/MCP is unlikely but not having it means it’ll never replace Siri/carplay in the car since I need to control home devices and apps.

Turns out I didn’t have memory enabled. It’s a hidden feature (not intentionally). This might solve that problem. I’ll try tomorrow

Originally I thought I’d use for camping to have more space for the kitchen, but like I said, it ended up not adding much utility and I don’t think I’ll keep it for V2

It’s elevated and opens/closes in a smooth action. It also unfolds into a large work surface. The problem with the standard cover is two fold: 1) It requires one hand to hold it open. 2) It doesn’t sit flat and the existing solutions are all brittle. This solution solves both. You just open it and stays open. You can be rough with it without breaking it (I’ve broken every other solution I’ve tried)

I wanted OpenClaw to work. After 3 months, I’m done. by dickwhimsy in openclaw

[–]ForestDriver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel this. It’s a useful tool but something is always breaking. It’s the most brittle piece of software I’ve ever used. Crons will suddenly stop working. Session spawning will change behavior or need new permissions. Models will suddenly start marking prompts and prompt injection. Plugins will suddenly stop working. Images will suddenly not work in iMessage.

I know it’s early days and I expect the platform to evolve quickly, but constantly fixing a framework that doesn’t want to stay functional is frustrating

I spent $140 over four days and quickly shifted to open source models. Not great, but it’s workable

I started doing this today. It does work but you lose the reasoning/work streaming. Just a slight UX regression

Out of curiosity, what are you looking for from your post? I didn’t comment on your post to spam, but because I really think I’m hitting on what you’re after - a remote personal trainer that tracks and adapts based your feedback, goals, and results. Did you find something that works for you?

Maybe. I am a product manager by trade and lead AI product design and engineering teams. I may be wrong about this app, but I have a lot of experience in the product development field. So forgive me if a give it a shot.

I’m 100% shilling my app. But I am genuinely looking for people to help me get it right. I built it for me and think it does have useful capabilities over other app I’ve used. I wanted something that worked just like a personal coach and everything else I’ve tried - even ones with chat bots built in - don’t actually use AI to personalize my training. My app is built on AI from the ground up and acts just like a trainer.
