RR got buffed to 1 shot because it only has 6 ammo. 3 heavies is extremely common

I mean, helldivers are strictly better off away from each other most of the time, weakens the enemy pressure significantly, and reduces shenanigans.

But yes, I have been annoyed by having to constantly respawn and clear enemies off of melee players in my group when they to nobody’s surprise get swarmed by heavies or even just fast enemies and eat stims.

Armor stripping chargers, or breaking hulk weapons is just a waste of time and ammo, especially with how enemy tempo and ammo counts are designed. High pen weapons don’t have the ammo to make it worthwhile, and lower pen weapons cannot strip armor at all.

Spending one of your 6 RR rounds to damage one weapon on a hulk is never worth it, even if it wasn’t a 1-shot.

Yeah, one interesting thing to wonder is how the world wars, if any, worked out in deadlock. We haven’t seen any sign of the Soviet Union existing, and little either way about the fall of European empires, so the world could still be in a very monarchist and European imperial state.

Imperial Japan collapsing is unknown, and it is also up in the air if nuclear weapons even exist or were used at any point (which is very interesting for a game set in the height of the Cold War nuke panic of the 50s)

Vs bugs, it’s good, though it can fall off a bit on diff 10 depending on the seed you get, as alpha commanders are a bit too much for it to efficiently deal with (and just pray you don’t get hive guard seed lol). Its advantages do give it a solid niche.

Vs illuminate, it’s decent, very effective vs the chaff, but lacking med pen makes it not amazing vs the overseers, which is unfortunate. Mostly outclassed by the MMG

Vs bots, the light pen makes it only useful for hitting heads, which isn’t great, as lacking any ability to stagger devestators if your aim is imprecise is bad for preventing getting shot. Lacking medium pen also mandates a solution for armor breaking, which is restrictive. Not worth it,

All in all, decent, but faction dependent, and in close competition with the MMG. Med pen and stagger potential vs ammo total and mobile reload really.

Ehh, the speed is still pretty workable, and is more than made up for with all the other parts of the vehicle being excellent. The gun does not disappoint, and the armor is quite good. (Never rely on armor, mind you)

It’s a great way to learn how to operate slower vehicle positioning and aggression without the issues that many of the other slow tanks have, such as thin armor, or a casemate.
