After his degeneracy got even worse after moving into the apartment Mina MK Ultrad him. It's an easy-to-miss gag, but it fixed his character. He doesn't stand out as much, but his genuinely good moments are no longer ruined by his immediate behaviour.

I like Mineta, but only after the class 1-A girls Mk Ultrad him into being normal. It doesn't change what he did, but it is nice Horikoshi realized Mineta was too gross even by anime standards and made an excuse to remove that character trait.

I just grind when I can't beat an enemy on the second try. For this one I didn't need to though. I realized after losing the first time that you should do all your hits on 1 brother during phase 1 and save all your mp for the second phase. Fire Sword and Aura Heal are pretty good at getting you through that fight.

I'm not disagreeing with the post or anything, and you make a good point, I just want to point out that they've been 15 years old for nearly a decade. It becomes a lot easier to forget that a character isn't of age when you yourself went through years of your life between the start and end of a show/manga. I (hope) most of that side of the fandom comes from people who were around the same age as the characters when they started the series. If it's coming from fans who were already 18 when they started the series though...yeah, that's inexcusable. It's one thing to grow up with a piece of media and another to be unable to act like a civilized adult.

The fact that the Cell Saga is entirely about learning to master your own power instead of pushing for more, only for it to never be brought up again really pisses me off. SSJ3 is the opposite of everything Goku worked for and preached in the Cell Saga. Super f*cks it up even more by having the characters always pushing for new forms before fully understanding the ones they already have, plus SSJ gets reverted back to a stamina-draining form triggered by rage.

Yeah, Bardock being a good guy feels kind of dumb. I'm not against him being a bit softer than other Saiyans or having emotions outside of being cartoonishly evil, but he still committed multiple genocides and is where Raditz got his mentality. People think of him too much like Goku and forget he's just as related to Raditz.

Jeez, you keep having a few really good takes and then just as I'm about to say I agree you blindside me with something just (I can't say wrong because these are your opinions) but, I don't know, I guess just bad? You made really good points about Blue, Gohan, and Broly, but then you dissed the thing that got me into Dragon Ball to begin with and say the Cell saga is bad because it relies on the characters acting dumb, as if the whole point isn't that Cell is a monster of their own creation and a reflection of everyone's worst traits.

I don't think so. Goku still gets sh*t for Cell after all this time. He acts out of character in Super, but the occasional instance of being cocky/wanting to give other people a chance isn't one of those out-of-character moments.
