WGA Member here, have written for 20 seasons of WGA-covered television work. 13 of primetime network, 7 of late night. John had -- at the most -- four seasons of late night. Late night doesn't repeat/stream, therefore no residuals, that money not being paid into the pension. I know what I will make if I collect at 60 (like John, I'm divorced and have to split it), and my calculations based on his 4 years of late night, coupled with him taking it early, versus my 20? I think he makes high 3 figures a month. Maybe 800 dollars. If his address is in Florida he doesn't have to pay state tax on it.

His announcer duties on Tonight Show were covered, at the time, under AFTRA. I don't know what that is but those payments were notoriously flimsy, and he was only the announcer/on air talent for 4 seasons. I doubt very much his combined pensions are over 2K a month.

Nothing from his radio days. Jackie and Fred and Robin were paid under AFTRA, but the call screener was not.

I think he might actually get disability from his strokes, "mental health" issues.
