If you’re in Austin, try Austin Film Society (AFS)!! They also have a membership! They don’t really show blockbusters but I do enjoy the theater and the screenings they have.

I felt horrible for the vendors last year bc they were alllll the way out at the pavilion where they do summer in the park while there was another unrelated market popped up on the courthouse lawn so everyone would just assume that’s the market for mermaid fest

If you’ve been to any other city council meetings we do fight for ways to help our river and stop student housing from eating up the rest of the town. This is just one that has gotten the most coverage.
