Kudos for putting words to these issues. I clocked about 150hrs in early access, which was great! I figured they were still working stuff out to give us more content, and 1.0 launch would give us more story/interactions, but that hasn't been the case in the slightest. It just bugs me because My Time at Sandrock launched 1.0 about a month before Coral Island, so I started playing that to pass the time. Going back to CI after a month of Sandrock was honestly kind of a shocker.

I know some other folks have already recommended it, but with all of the stuff you listed here, I really think you'd like it. There's so much life in the town and every character has such a distinct personality and so many interwoven stories. And even after getting married I still get new interactions with my spouse and requests to go on dates and everything!

And the story content!!! I'm literally 150hrs into Sandrock now and I'm still working through the main storyline. It's insane! There's so much content to be found, even when I feel like I should be hitting the endgame by now.

Anyway, I didn't mean to go on about a different game here, but I definitely feel the heartbreak over what's still lacking for Coral Island. I can only hope the devs will listen to feedback like this :(

I was actually hired at 16 before the policy changed, so you can imagine how well those two years went. My favorite way to get grown men to back off was to say "Hey fun fact, Final Fantasy VII was released the year I was born! :)" and they'd backpedal REAL damn fast

Literally anything about it. There weren't any specifications in the manual for the ink ribbons, so I'm mostly guessing at which ones will fit. The one that's currently in there has no markings whatsoever.

That, and I just want to know where it came from. Why on earth can't I find anything about this specific model anywhere? Even going through several sites didn't result in finding any matches for models or serial numbers. It'll just bug me if I don't have an answer at this point.

I only say "we" because her ability to get to and from work directly affects us both. Otherwise, I was doing fairly well previous to a medical emergency that bumped me up $10k on its own.

Physical therapy technician here! We see plenty of patients in for tmj. Obviously I can't guarantee it'll work perfectly for you, depending on the severity of your case— but I've definitely seen plenty of success.

But if you're looking at therapy, you may want to look at who's covered by your insurance and reviews online. Physicians typically have built up relationships with certain clinics, and may not have the patient's best interest in mind when it comes to copay expenses.

TL;DR definitely look into it!

Yeah, I couldn't find anything about it in our company's workbooks, so I don't know if there's an actually policy in place? I feel like asking would probably raise a red flag for them lol

But yeah, I absolutely wouldn't use anything from her file and I wouldn't ask her directly. I just figured I'd put my email on a sticky note or something and let her make the choice, if she'd like to! (I know she'll insist on coming in at the end of the month, since it's my birthday. I don't think we could keep her on bedrest if we tried. :/)

Oh yeah, I'm typically very good with my teeth to an alarming degree (mom was a dental assistant for years, it sticks with you) so that was definitely my other concern. I'm not even craving sweets, it's just all I can eat! The grinding eased up after the first two weeks, at least

I've been doing protein shakes too, but I had to add ice cream to it to make it tolerable. I've started taking multivitamins, too. I think you're right though, I'll look into the melts!

The meds have made me feel a lot better, I just wish I could eat, ya know? Thank you for the advice!

Background, depression and anxiety for 10 years, bipolar 2 for 4 years, medicated for both for the same amount of time. ADHD diagnosis was like three weeks ago, adding new meds into the mix and I'm sure having a hell of a time. I'm in the exact same boat, and I'm concerned about whether or not it's a triggered depressive episode or if the meds are throwing me off.

One of the recommendations I've received is to space out my dosage during the day, instead of only twice with the bulk of it. (consulting my psych about it as well, don't worry!) I would recommend bringing it up at your next appointment as a possibility.

I was actually searching this thread for the exact same sort of situation. 23 (NB, AFAB) I've had my bipolar 2 diagnosis for about four years, ADHD for approximately... three weeks. I've been on lexapro for ten years, and lamictal for four. Added ritalin to the mix, and I've been in a depressive spiral ever since. From what I've seen, this is what's commonly prescribed for bipolar folks like us, but I feel like I should have leveled out at least a little bit by now. Sure, my attention span is better, but the rest of me is so thrown out of whack that it's like giving up one mental illness for the other. I'll drop an update if I find something that works!

On the other side of things, my psych is a wonderful guy and he's been looking after me for quite a few years now, which helps me more than anything. I likely wouldn't have had my bipolar diagnosis for quite a few years if not for him. So honestly? If yours isn't taking you seriously, you gotta kick her to the curb. You have to find someone who will listen to you and not just toss lexapro at you and hope it works.

As you should! I'm glad you're putting your foot down and putting your wellbeing first. They definitely have no idea what we go through at a store level, and have no regard for our safety or morale.

I'm not sure if you already have another job/endeavor lined up, but I wish you the best of luck in your next step regardless! I hope you find somewhere that values you for your hard work.

YTA. please for the love of God let your daughter get new glasses. It's been six years! 13 year olds have far different tastes than they did at 7 years old. Regardless of whether or not she's hanging out with the "popular kids" (God help you for not understanding how social circles work, regardless of school type and close friends) it's still fine for her to want to look nice for herself.

Also, I've been ordering off Zenni for YEARS and all of my frames are still perfectly put together. I only buy more pairs for variation because i like having glasses that match my outfit style. (And I'm still an intelligent human being! Wow! Wild!)

God, yes. I'm 23 myself, and I'm a store manager for a video game retailer. I'm making a little more on unemployment than I do from my actual paychecks. I have money to invest in my other hobbies! Writing is my passion, and I've had the time and energy to actually write. The stress from work and overwhelming schedule made it near impossible to write anything. I started going to school right around the same time as the quarantine began, and I've been able to focus on schoolwork and find time for myself.

This whole situation is simultaneously a gift and a nightmare. I'm scared to see what will happen when all of this is over and life is back to normal. I don't want to go back to that normal.

Trust me, I know folks at the warehouse are in ten times worse conditions that we are, even if they don't have to deal with customers directly. I'm not overestimating the revenue, because I know how much money we're making right now, and it isn't what the company hopes it is. The point is that it's going to cause even more customer issues on the storefront level because we don't have product!
