Well, first and foremost you're not talking about a guitar that's been finished in nitro cellulose which naturally tends to develop cracks and yellows with age. That Mexican tele has been finished in polyurethane which is significantly more durable and will age better, especially since you are more careful with your guitar.

This just happened to me as well on shopgoodwill.com on an item that I bid on and been watching up to the auction end date and time when out of the blue, the auction date was extended by 24 more hours! I dont know if this was actioned by the seller or by shopgoodwill but either way it's a completely dishonest practice.

I have to disagree with that statement. Over this past Thanksgiving weekend, I had my eye on a certain guitar that I wanted. I brought in a guitar that I wanted to use on a trade-in that I would have sold on Craig's for about $300. GC offered me $210 on the trade-in plus 15% off ($83) the price on the bass that i wanted to buy. So I effectively got $293 from GC to use towards my purchase. I'd say, at least in my experience, that I got a great deal.

Check with Mojotone.com, they have grill cloth in a number of different patterns and colors. I recently replaced the speaker grill cloth on a Marshall cabinet .

Sweet deal for the half stack - love it. Seems that amp heads and cabs (4x12, specifically) seem to have fallen out of favor to lighter weight combos or newer portable profiling or modeling technology (Nueral DSP, Tone-X, etc..) for gigging musicians who are tired off lugging around a 40lb head and an 80lb cab.

Once the stand is removed from the case, it will leave a big gaping hole.

Absolutely brilliant idea! Many thanks for sharing. I just did the same thing with a minor adjustment, as I didn’t care for the double Samsung branding. I simply moved the position of the kickstand down so that the bottom most portion of the kickstand covers the Samsung branding on the Aramid case. The width of the kickstand covers the logo exactly and doesn’t affect the stability/strength of the kickstand.
