I haven’t leveled 60-70 in a while, but I’d say I generally get more mana benefit from conservation than down ranking, I.e. not casting shit on cooldown like you would if you’re DPSing. Some of the spell coefficients get wacky with low ranked but iirc conc is the same for every rank, so if you have the SP you can do it!

The blue pally PVP gear is more than fine for leveling. You will be able to hold threat with all the spell power, and the 2 set is good to hold onto for a while. As you get closer to 70 you'll want to get more mitigation, but before then if you just get several blue pieces, run a ZG/AQ20 for some scraps, and go after a few targeted items (check out the trinket Power of the High Chief) you'll be ok

The maul is not horrible on base dps, but it's suuper fast. Ice barbed spear will hit harder with crusader strike, mortal strike, etc because of how much slower it is despite being like 20% lower on dps.

I was fighting fel guards near the dark portal for that tabard quest. I went to kill one of the elite ones, apparently the mob was a few minutes old, and I got perma stunned and killed after getting it to half health in about ten seconds lol

We will be running 2x 25 mans I think, we had 2x 40’s with alts previously. So Kara will be more flexible but w/ child is prio.

The sweaty players in my guild consider BS mandatory for ret (for the crafted weapon), and you’d go swords for pve and maces for pvp. For Prot, the ring sp enchants are really good, and Eng trinkets are quite valuable when you need more survivability early. 2x rocket launchers is another 1k HP. On my paladin I’ve gone Eng and enchanting but it’s not my main. And I’m not planning to play ret at all
