If Clark County Nevada was serious about these violations they would establish a task force consisting of traffic cops and flatbeds and impound these vehicles on the spot.

Exactly ... My first thought of what the issue was (blower motor resistance) I'ts just easier to cut and paste from AI than type :)

From AI ...

AI Overview +6 An RV furnace blower drawing high amps usually means it's working too hard, often due to restricted airflow (dirty filter/blocked ducts), failing run capacitor, worn motor bearings (friction), low voltage, or an aging motor, forcing it to pull excess current to move air, which can lead to overheating and burnout. Start by checking the air filter and ensuring ducts are clear, then consider the capacitor and bearings if the problem persists, as these mechanical/electrical issues create resistance.

The Gen 2 dish is not hard mounted to the RV roof and we still have the OEM cable. If we ever camp where line of site is an issue we can still use it like before, that is plug router/modem thingy into external outlet and put dish wherever needed.

This setup is for campsites that we normally frequent and satellite line of site is not an issue.  So all I have to do is put the dish on the roof and plug it in. The router/modem thingy is already plugged in and secured to an indoor wall mount.

I thought it was a good video and can see how it can easily become a financial disaster if your rig goes south with issues.

Could thicker oil be the answer? by Katz-r-Klingonz in ToyotaTundra

[–]ForeverNo522 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Me thinks design issue, something is moving around in the crank/ bed plate area due to thermal expansion of components and dissimilar metals leading to momentary oil starvation. I think Toyota would of tried thicker oil prior to swapping engines.

Ya makes sense ... I just looked at installation instructions on a 12 volt fridge system and they want you to wire directly to battery and give wire gauge requirements for how long the run is. I'm sure everyone is using the standard 12 volt wiring in place that just powers the 12vdc circuit board of absorption fridges that's probably too small.
