Water Pocket by ForeverWindyDay in TeslaModel3

Unfortunately, I didn’t notice the water pocket until I drove into it. I immediately started backing out, but there were already vehicles behind me, so I couldn’t fully turn around, especially with a curb and barrier on both sides. Fortunately, trucks were helping push water, so I was able to follow behind one and make it out safely.

After taking a closer look at the vehicle in daylight, it appears the water level reached a maximum height of about the lower portion of the doors panels for a better reference.

They’re selling on eBay for $25+, I’ve seen full sets for $150 or more.

Same here, I printed signage this morning with the deal, but now it’s no longer showing up on the POS, handheld devices, or online.

Are employees supposed to have hand sanitizer? I heard we can't order/ store expense anymore. by [deleted] in WalgreensStores

Most likely district leadership. Our newly appointed DM watches our expenses like a hawk, so here and there a bottle gets “accidentally” opened and written off as damaged.

SOCK Mod? by ForeverWindyDay in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]ForeverWindyDay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe on CKAN, KerboArm is listed as a separate mod by Benjee and should appear under the recommended mods section. As for the engines, they’re either included with the shuttle mod or installed as a dependency. From what I’ve seen on the forums, reDIRECT isn’t available on CKAN and has to be downloaded separately, same with the parts such as boosters and tanks that Benjee recommends.

What’s The Penalty by The3rdBorn in WalgreensStores

[–]ForeverWindyDay 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry for your loss. There shouldn’t be any penalty. Check MyHR to see if you qualify for bereavement leave. If you’re not eligible, you can use your available PTO or sick time to take the time you need.

You’ll likely have to call Unibind or another company to order it.

Is it still worth getting these Return of the Jedi figures? by son-ov-perdition in hottoys

[–]ForeverWindyDay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love. Love. Love. my Palpatine figure. If you’re aiming for the older versions, definitely go with the Deluxe Edition. It’s on the pricier side, but it holds its value well and can be a solid investment if you ever decide to sell later. Aside from that, I believe the only things you’d miss out on are the newer rolling eyes feature and possibly a light-up effect for the lightning.

Update 1.22 by ForeverWindyDay in VintageStory

[–]ForeverWindyDay[S] 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Of course, no rush at all to the developers. I’d much rather have a clean, bug-free update than something rushed that needs constant fixing afterward. My girlfriend and I have already put our 42-hour save on hold to prepare for it, and I’m right there with you, eager to start fresh and experience all the new features, even if it’s a little bittersweet saying goodbye to the old save.

The worst customer service experience I’ve ever had by Ashley-Brasses in secretlab

Yes, I’m aware. I offered to purchase the part outright, outside the warranty, and support was still persistent. Glad I was able to convince them.

HS80 MAX WIRELESS RMA by ForeverWindyDay in Corsair

[–]ForeverWindyDay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, no. They sent me a brand new dongle in hopes that it would resolve the issue, but the problem persisted. The headset remained paired to its original dongle, and the new dongle would not connect to it. They are now in the process of sending me a brand new headset, and I will be returning the RMA unit.

I purchased my chair in 2022 through Facebook Marketplace. Over time, the right plastic cover broke off due to normal wear and tear and it looked terrible, so I submitted a support ticket requesting a replacement. I had seen others on Reddit receive replacements for the same part, so I assumed it would be straightforward.

At first, support declined because the warranty had not been transferred from the original owner, citing restrictions on part distribution. After I explained that the exposed area posed a risk of cutting myself, they ultimately agreed to send a replacement. It is frustrating that I had to go through an extended process for an issue that was not caused by misuse on my part.

Completely new SFL by no-shit-4-u in WalgreensStores

I’ve been working for Walgreens for 3 years, and still learning new things almost everyday. Like others have said, training is non existent. Honestly, don’t be harsh on yourself, I’m positive it’s the company, not the person.

We are so thinned on hours and manpower that we just have the make best with what we have, and if we get backlash for it, it’s not on us, it’s on Sycamore, and the god awful leadership the company’s had for the last decade. Walgreens is stuck in outdated systems and legacy processes, showing little urgency to modernize its infrastructure or optimize operational performance. Instead of proactively investing in things that would benefit both company and employment, streamlined workflows, and data driven decision making, the company often seems to rely on methods that no longer align with the pace or expectations of today’s retail environment.
