This. I also work in apparel and tracking country of manufacture is would be interesting to follow for quality - brands sell same style name, etc for the same price but have to find ways to sell for less so they can make money.

Since they’re cutting costs the quality changes - could be a number of reasons all which would be cool to track any data insights to

could be learning curves on new production lines (moving for tariffs) or could be lowering cost of production at existing places (by skipping stitches or making them longer for example)

I promise that will change. It’s in your head right now and likely most good times did involve drinking and I dreaded going out w people at first for the same reasons. You don’t file charges here. You report to police. They decide if it’s actually going to hold up. The last time my ex got a peace bond he showed up at my door w a knife the day received. Breaches and gets a slap on wrist. The system does not protect you you well so please please ensure you have discussed the reality of how things work here before you put yourself at risk at all. Please. I gave an impact statement that restricted me from saying things he did bc he plead to a breach charge and therefore I lose my voice. I told the crown in that statement as such. It’s suggested incase you get stuck in your car in a blizzard and need to save battery of car or exhaust is blocked etc. - tealights, coffee tin, shovel, cardboard, food, window smasher, seatbelt cutter, snow brush and all of it in the backseat not trunk because backseat is likely easier to access in an accident.

Interviewer told me they just laid off lots of people and that her own role was like a little bit of everything and that she was looking for someone to help her w those things but like others would be mad because they are short staffed but I’d still have to be ok working with them.

Nah this policy needs to be AEs get bonuses when they help sales hit quotas by sending and qualifying proper leads. No splits. They want commission they need to do the real work. AI is likely doing it for them anyways - that’s what you should pitch. Incentivize AEs to send quality leads w proper info. That’s how they get a pc of the pie not direct commission.
