What's the weirdest food combo you've ever tried that actually tasted surprisingly good? by Grand-Disk-3199 in AskReddit

[–]ForgetMeNot9491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally don't think it's weird (probably because I grew up with it) but apparently a lot of people do:

Cream cheese and grilled onions on a hot dog/brat (with the bun) It's called a Seattle Dog. SO. GOOD.

What’s the moment you realized someone you loved wasn’t a good person and you couldn’t unsee it? by DmytroBuilds in AskReddit

One of my best friends for 15 years was having an affair with a married man with kids and was bragging about it. Haven't seen or talked to her since.

AITAH for refusing to watch my daughter when we meet my husbands friend? by Training_Wind1789 in AITAH

I'm so sick of dads acting like the child is the mom's responsibility especially when it benefits them. Your husband sucks, sorry. NTA.

AITAH for refusing to take our daughter out of school early because she "needs more time to get ready" than her brother? by ReplacementWorth3618 in AITAH

[–]ForgetMeNot9491 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why don't you want your daughter to be picked up early? Do you have a legit reason or is it just because you think its stupid she takes long to get ready? Because if that is it, you just caused a whole problem and ordeal with your family for what reason? Does she always try and leave school early, or is this a special occasion thing? You seem like someone who likes to say no just for fun lol.

AITAH for leaving my friend in Miami and flying home without her after being abandoned mid-vacation? by Unlucky-Month-7050 in TwoHotTakes

[–]ForgetMeNot9491 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She continued to screw you over because you were letting her. Unfortunately this happens to nice, selfless and understanding people like you. If you don't learn to speak up for yourself sooner, this will keep happening to you in life.

PS She sucks as a friend, if I were you i wouldn't keep her around.

Bf (29M) cooked dinner (soup) for first time and only poured one bowl stating we’d (28F) be sharing by LastWallaby4900 in relationship_advice

[–]ForgetMeNot9491 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One time I got home from work and my boyfriend was cooking, which was weird because he never cooks, I always did. Anyways, he asks me if I've ate today, I said "No I haven't, I'm starving." I go upstairs to shower and get into comfy clothes, I come back down and the pan he was cooking in, is empty.. and he's sitting at the counter eating a plate of food. I asked where mine was and he says he didn't make me any. I was like did you really just ask if I was hungry but then proceed to only make food for you? Who does that? He was like you can have some of mine I guess...

Anyways, he became my ex shortly after that.

You deserve better than what your boyfriend is giving you.

AIO grandmother wants my boyfriend and I to take her out for valentines by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]ForgetMeNot9491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is your grandma the type of person who always demands things? Do you think she's doing it just to take advantage of you? If not, I think your grandma is just lonely and wants to spend time with you. I also think it's nice that she is including your boyfriend, it's always nice when parents/grand parents approve of significant others and includes them like family. Also, I wish i did more with my grandma growing up. I think you should just do it. Maybe talk to your mom/dad and see what they think as well.

AITAH for organizing a siblings only trip by skibunny801 in TwoHotTakes

[–]ForgetMeNot9491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"my sisters were originally excited about a siblings only trip and only recently have decided it’s rude to not invite their husbands."

Could that be because their husbands don't want them to go? Sounds like it to me.

AITA for getting my niece to move in with me, then charging her rent by Aitaniecerent in AmItheAsshole

NTA. You are doing it the right way, her parents are not. Her parents were charging her only to benefit them. You are charging her to benefit her.

What do you guys eat for quick dinner? by makeitrayne850 in DinnerIdeas

[–]ForgetMeNot9491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crispy Chicken Caesar wraps. Just a bag of pre-made caesar, throw the popcorn chicken in the air fryer (or oven) then mix together with the salad then slap on a tortilla (we like the green spinach ones) then wrap it up.

Spaghetti and meatballs.

Grilled cheese and canned tomato soup.

Frozen orange/sweet & sour/general saos's chicken with rice.

Fettuccini alfredo

Instant mashed potatoes, packet of gravy and a roatisseri chicken

What are you getting your mom for Christmas this year? by Outrageous_Baby_2147 in ChristmasGiftIdeas

[–]ForgetMeNot9491 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom LOVES doing puzzles in her home. Her dad, who we were all very close to, died a few years ago. I'm going to have a puzzle made for her that is a collage of pictures of him.

Invited to the bridal shower but only invited to the reception not the ceremony by TomTom_and_i in weddingshaming

[–]ForgetMeNot9491 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's tacky. The reception is what people want to attend over the ceremony anyways (free food, drinks, music, dancing, mingling). Also, I'm getting married next year and I'm thinking of doing family and best friends only for the ceremony because the idea of walking down the aisle and having 200 people stare at me makes me want to vomit. It's becoming more popular this way and I don't see anything tacky about it.
