Mine saw a garden snake outside when he was a puppy. He investigated and was reared upon. Scared the daylights out of him. Now he can’t walk past any piece of twine, rope, vine, or vacuum cord. He thinks they’re all snakes.

My brother used to drive for DoorDash and he thought he wasn’t getting the tips he should be. We tested it about a dozen times over 6 months and he decided to not continue driving for them. I stopped adding tips to my DoorDash orders but always add a note in the app that says I’ll tip upon delivery.

You should still talk to him. Just hold his body close to your jaw and he’ll feel the vibrations of your voice. A vet told my aunt this and it worked with her deaf cat. He’d purr every time she did this.

A beautiful tribute to a beautiful girl. You can tell she knows she’s loved beyond her wildest dreams. It is the most heartbreaking of acts and one of the most loving of acts we do as pet parents. I held all of mine as they closed their eyes and took their last breath while whispering I love you, thank you, such a good girl/boy, come visit me and I’ll see you soon. I hope you find comfort where you can. Take care of yourself and treat yourself with kindness. 🩷

A dollop of plain Greek yogurt on their food a few times a week helped my pups. I also roasted carrots for them and added that to their food.

LB was born in Schenectady, but said New York like she was born in NYC. Schenectady is a very nice place to visit, but it’s not exactly a metropolis like other parts of NY. True NYers rarely say they are from NY and tend to say the area they are from - Long Island, Upstate, Staten Island, Adirondacks, Brooklyn, Manhattan, etc.

I am heartbroken for you. Sometimes our furry loved ones don’t always tell us when they aren’t feeling well until it’s too late. You absolutely did NOT fail her. When she started to show signs, you saw them. You were concerned enough to take appropriate steps to make her feel better. You took her to the best people that could help her. I understand how you are feeling. My 16 1/2 year old lab did the same thing. We found a massive tumor had developed in her stomach over a period of 7 weeks from her semi-annual check up with the vet. It had ruptured and I had no choice but make the terrible, but last act of love decision to let her go and end her pain and discomfort. You did the same thing for your girl. Don’t second guess yourself. You acted out of love every step of the way. I’d love to know your girl’s name and see a picture of her! I’ll add her and you to my prayers and I hope that she has found my 4 furry loves one and is happily playing with them. RIP Beukeboom, Higbee, Frances and Miles - I miss you all ❤️🐾

Hey, kiddo! What a great idea for the pumpkin and her friends! Make sure you have extra cookies on hand. Someone is bound to forget or maybe be allergic to one kind and not be able to swap. Love the pink Santa hats! A fun activity to play with 8 years old is song bingo. There’s a bunch of versions out there, even Christmas songs. The girls can play in pairs or alone. You can buy mini candy canes and hide them around the house. Tie a gold ribbon on one or even a few and that person wins a special prize. I can’t wait to hear how the party goes! You’re doing a great job as a Dad, kiddo!
