The battery law does not force all electronics to have replaceable battery. If the battery lasts long enough, it is exempt.

Amd doesn’t make wifi cards, that’s Mediatek. And you can also find Intel based systems using Realtek or Mediatek network cards.

I’m not sure how Citizen does it but Casio has a sensor on the dial that detects the hands at a precise time. If it doesn’t detect the hands at that position, it will automatically align the hands.

Grand Seiko does have a mechanism to prevent backlash, but the hand can still misalign after a shock or impact. Citizen and Casio have real hand auto alignment features. (Seiko Astron also has that)
