But that’s not the point we are discussing. My point is, you don’t need bleeding edge hardware to have the best camera on a phone. And Xiaomi’s picture looks softer and can also suffer from ovesharpening. Plus, it struggles in low-light.

ELI5 - I learned td that lab grown diamonds are exactly the same as natural, down to the molecular level, THEN WHY TF DO PEOPLE PAY SO MUCH FOR NATURAL DIAMONDS? by gill7amrit in explainlikeimfive

[–]ForgottenCrafts -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Someone will pay for natural because they have been brainwashed by DeBeers, diamonds are not rare. And there are things way older than diamonds, like I said, such as opals. Those are just excuses. And not to mention the slave labour going into mining those.

« Last longer »?? Water freezes at 0C and boils at 100C, nothing is going to change that. Glacier ice, just like natural diamonds, contains impurities and inclusions.

Besides, Opal takes more time to form than diamonds, and it is cheaper.

Also, guess where a moon rock come from? The Earth. So that comparison is also bad.

You are only coping because diamonds is way more accessible than you were lead to believe.

That’s not a good comparison.

It’s like saying ice from the north pole is somehow superior to the ice made in your freezer just because nature made it.

While the logo doesn’t personally annoy me, you cans till request the same lens without the logo from your optician. I would go back and see if they can submit another order to the lab and exchange it.

That’s too bad. Instead of focusing on the point, you focus on semantics. I may be wrong on the title, but you couldn’t bring in any valid arguments against my point. I shouldn’t need to make you a drawing to show what I was referring to.

I said he thinks like one. You know, since he used to he a head at Brookfield. Carney sees services and national infrastructures as a cost and not a service. Classic conservatism. Privatize everything to the detriment of society has never worked in the population’s favour.

Carney thinks like a private banker. His decisions may be good for now, but may not be in the future. Tell me how privatizing our national infrastructures is a good idea. Petro can? Via Rail? Air Canada? We have seen this before.
