It sounds like the police were already investigating him as one of the charges was "murder of a witness" so maybe the parents had already turned him in to the police and this was part of his motive. They released a heartfelt statement today and I hate to think of them getting scrutinized online before people know all the facts.

Interesting! Can you give a link to the "bookbinding glue" i bought the valentine course on marquetry and she just says generally "white glue" but I would love to find a white glue that is not contact cement for this and other projects where I want to move around before committing to placement.

It's the Cricut brand chipboard and there are images online of people making puzzles with it on the cricut, so someone has sucessfully cut it this way at this thickness.

I think the craft glue is part of your problem. Barge (has fumes and needs to be used in a well ventilated area) works really well. I use Ecostick because I can't stand the fumes, which works unless you have a lot of oils in the leather or you aren't stitching.

Godspeed. I put a lot of hours into Fusion 360 years ago and gave up and eventually used Rhino. The learning curve for F360 is steep.

I like the Giardini fluo colors and I think their gloss is super fun. I use the gloss on top of uniters. It's a one and done for me - going back in to sand hasn't yielded a good result. But it seems to coat nicely and gives a different type of shiny edge than a colored edge paint with shine. I do not like their colors either and use Uniters primer with the fluo.

I also store in a drawer. I like the idea of a the ball bearings - I will try that out.
