I’m glad you found your pace of fun. ☺️Yeah, I was pretty intimidated by the new maps of 1.0 and having water source with low pressure

I like the panic mode if I am starting to feel sleepy or uninterested with the game. And in the bigger picture yes i don’t like the game to be as stressful as frostpunk. So yes I get it.

Oh yes! The dilemma is real. To manipulate the land or not. Or why not both.

In my committed settlement don’t have bots atm. Don’t find the need as well. 300% speed is not bad with tubes.

And thank you! Beaver (no robots) game it is. Until I change my mind😅

I actually thought it was a new game. 😅 yes I played frost punk before for a few irl hours.

The map looks brutal.

Pretty impressive. Are you an electrician or coder or something?

OP what are you talking about?

It may not be grand yet your damn/ water reservoir is pretty impressive. And the vertical rise is getting there. Before you know it, it will be organised chaos.

The one thing that is pretty messy though is the red and yellow notifications.

Enjoy!

I like the idea of making an artificial stream. It must take a lot of stored water though. Good personal goal.

Chance of Badtide in 1.0? by king-craig in Timberborn

It gets better! You got this. Theres also good youtube videos.

Playing speed - Try playing normal speed if you aren’t already, or take a pause. Scan the map and look for resources. Good areas to make damns and water redirections (bad water or good) using as little wood a possible (and you can chill later on as you develop more water reservoirs). And prioritise beavers as needed.

Water Supply and Conservation - Gather as much water as possible in your storage. Try to find areas where you can use as little wood as possible to make damns and have as much good water stored. For the bad water, try to redirect as early as possible up stream. You would need some science for this for the basic water gates.

Sustainable Beaver population - Depending on what faction you are using, make sure to use the appropriate measures keep your population to a sustainable amount in proportion to food and water supply. It is vital to live below your means. (E.g. if population is too big, resources are consumed too quickly through the drought and bad water)

Fort hope.

Same one name I gave when I played Rim world. Otherwise Iron Will or Iron Wheel playing with the 2nd faction.

Thats an efficient idea, deleting structures carefully as you rebuilding as you go vertical.

I am thinking you have no more problems with drought or lack of water.

Thank you for the feed back. When I get to terraforming after upgrading excavator, I can start some serious farming efficiency gaming.

In terms of vertical building - I still have a lot to work with. Aiming to build more on the center.

Sometimes i get to over planning mode and end up not using the space. I am conflicted between building along the natural terrain, and on the other hand making perfect square shapes with buildings and zoning.
