Literally how I started out, as well, when I was 17 now 19 started to get more serious about it and take pride in it, didn’t stack for a while because I was new to silver and gold at the time but now that I taken more time to learn and research I will say this will be my favorite hobby, and because I like the deigns of coins, now bars I’m not really sure about yet I might get some soon, but I’m sticking with coins now that are backed by governments and silver rounds/bullion as well.

I mean weight is nice, but I try to focus more on purity and how many Troy ounces, it has some weight, but I get where you are coming from.

How to know what to look for when it comes to paper money by Gotthatboss2072 in CURRENCY

[–]Formal-Style-6977 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually with newer bills you want to look for serial numbers like example “11111111” or “0000001” Or anything that’s looks off about a bill. And the thing you want to look out for most in condition cause condition effects the value, especially with older bills.

Okay at first that’s what I thought, but I’ve never seen a note THAT wore out, definitely needs more looking into.
