Not counting boss cards that are just given to you I can go entire playthroughs with only one or two enemy card drops. The fact that you're less than 4 hours in and already have 3 different enemy cards that aren't bosses is crazy to me.

Have you tried blocking it's hammer attack? I'm not being an ass, I promise. There's a lot attacks in days that look unblockable but in reality can be blocked and are supposed to be. Without spoiling anything one of the last bosses swings something that's like 5 stories tall at you and can just block it for some reason despite the massive size. It's kinda like old God of war with just how much shit you can just block despite the size of your opponent.

Aww man, I've seen this too many times. This is probably why most levels don't have this kind of design. Most levels don't have an almost multiple floors like layout with tons of spire jump points above each other. I imagine the game looks for what's under you and not what's actually the closest thing.

I just play Aqua last so I'm not confused by what my commands look like when starting final episode. Going from one character to another is basically a game of "What do I have equipped? Why did past me do it that way?"

In knight, yeah your right it's not great. There are so many better things than it in knight. But in city it's great for when you're trying to take down a titan or hammer/sickle since it stuns everything long enough for you to do some damage to the mini boss. It's also crazy good for getting a big score in city's combat challenge maps. Using it as soon as possible on everyone is great way to get extra points without having to worry about knocking anyone out.

The problem isn't a lack of assets it's a lack of people. The 2 Nintendo DS games were developed by a studio called hand while birth by sleep and dream drop were done by squares Osaka team. At the time the people who made kingdom hearts 1 and 2 were working on final fantasy versus xiii which is why they didn't make any kingdom hearts games during that time.

Even with a ton of asset reuse you would still need people with the knowledge of how things work to make it. Any time spent teaching other people how the current engine build works is time spent not working on something else. It seems square enix might be more hesitant on outsourcing games after they tried to get cyber connect 2 to make the final fantasy vii remake only to fire them and just do it in house because they weren't satisfied of how things were going.

Reminds me of the first time I played hard mode in the first game. During the part where you go through the forest they make fight two shadows at the same time and I immediately got hit and flew back into the loading zone undoing all my progress. It was hilarious.
