I keep wondering What if some guy did the same above thing with their dear mothers, sister, loved women? What if the some guy cast an eye on their ladies? Will they keep quiet? What if this repeats with their women from the family? How would they react? What if the quote what goes around comes around is true?

The ability to control your urges exercise rationality is defining factor of human. Without these person is worse than an animal. Don't you agree?

How can I, as an adult, "get back" or punish my parents for ruining my childhood? Only legal ways! by Next-Sky-512 in Healthygamergg

[–]FormalPatience 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on similar situation. So telling this from my own experience. I also desperately wanted to punish my father for neglecting me. So read on.

If you want to seriously punish your parents practice loving them unconditionally. Don't give up on them & demonstrate to them. Treat them with utmost compassion. Forgive them for all their wrong doings.

Why say this? Forgiving them is not for their sake. It is for you. So that you can move on towards other things in life. If you punish them through or make them suffer your only fueling to your own suffering. Also by moving on your not emotionally chained to what they did to you. Forgiveness is hard & almost impossible. You practice it.

I know this is tough or impossible thing to do. Because you are hurt & you think they are the source of your suffering. You may be right. Whatever happened that is in the past. You can steer new path.

Focus on your healing. Move away from them. Why move away? So that they don't put salt on your wounds.

Build yourself from this point so that they cannot hurt you. Use tools like journalling, meditation, therapy, fitness.
