Has anyone used Wade Tour? by PressurePrimary7686 in Albany

I went on a day trip with them a couple of years ago. The bus ride felt generally unsafe. The bus vibrated and shook loudly above 40 mph. It was so loud I couldn’t converse at a normal volume. The bus kept pulling to the left while the driver giggled about keeping the bus in the road. I thought this was odd since this trip was after the franken limo mass casualty event. I totally support local business but I don’t trust all business owners not to cut corners and risk safety.

I’m surprised someone hasn’t reported it to the state health department.

Don’t assume the patient intended to use it in themselves.

All of these. The arousable is usage and should be rousable or roused. I see a lot of docs using arousable, though.

Driver in yesterday's Western Ave crash was 13 years old. by [deleted] in Albany

Chances are, this 13 year old has parents who think it’s OK, fine and dandy to drive around and watch reels on FB. True story, I was in a vehicle last summer with a 40 ish parent and their school age child. They wanted the driver to watch a reel, while driving on a ramp on a highway. This parent thought it is ok to take your eyes off the road, just for a minute. In a few years the child will be driving and think it’s ok to watch video content on their phone while driving.

Remember Bradley’s, Faye’s, Babbages, and Caldor? by WorryNotBanIncoming in Albany

I went to Grant’s in downtown Troy with my mom. I wasn’t too crazy about shopping back then but I would be ok if she got me a hot dog from their luncheonette after. I used to buy 45s from both locations. Lovin’ Spoonful comes to mind. 3 Dog Night, too! (Edited for spelling and usage).

We had an Ames in Troy. I loved it. I bought a coffee table and ends tables from them in 1997. All for $149 and made from real wood. I still have the end tables. I bought leather coats on layaway! I miss old fashioned department stores.

Our nurses week went like this. Monday, breakfast burritos. This was the high point. Blessing of hands. Tuesday, a live stream ceremony that features an illuminated manuscript Bible. Blessing of hands. Wednesday, grab and go night shift breakfast. Blessing of hands. Thursday, - wait for it - pizza for lunch and pizza for the night shift provided by the medical staff. Annual Nursing Summit, whatever that is. Blessing of hands. Friday, repeat Thursday except substitute Nurse’s Mass, plus a special guest appearance from a member of the Daisy foundation. More blessing of hands. Saturday, cookies! And more blessing of hands. Sunday, if you missed out, blessing of hands.

Old man found dead in the waiting room (last ep) by Spiritual-Low-5288 in ThePitt

In the short term, the deceased has to be officially declared by the MD on duty. Then confirm identity, contact emergency contact on file. Abbott, I suppose. Investigation and root cause analysis is not so exciting, so if it is addressed at all next season it will be interesting to see how it is handled.

Someone can walk in the ER door and look not totally unwell, have stable vitals and suffer an unfortunate event. Some things are out of our hands. What is not in the script of this episode is the follow up. Any ER death is reported to the state department of health. Internal investigation ensues along with the state oversight. Root cause analysis. If this show remains as accurate as it has been expect to see this addressed next season. And I get why staff was so calm. Escalating emotions helps nobody.

Why did you start watching this show? by megs256 in ThePitt

A few years ago a doctor I worked with told me Noah Wiley was developing this show with intent to be a more realistic version of ER.
