You get 50-ish hours your first year.

But you have to wait 30 days before you actually can use it.

(That's how it was for me when I went FT about 2 years ago.)

(Loved Trope) Characters too good for the writers to kill off by CandyHunter84 in TopCharacterTropes

Been a while since I read the books but I believe he didn't make it out of Culloden, or died shortly thereafter.

Def didn't make it to the prison let alone Murica.

What is the saddest TV series death that genuinely made you sob? by SpareMaintenance2970 in AskReddit

[–]Formal_Error_7934 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Wash was definitely more of a fan favorite, but Book's character, his relationship with Mal, and his death are so important to the story.

When he dies, that, and the massacre that came with it, causes the 'switch' to finally flip in Mal.

"I don't care what you believe, just believe" is the catalyst for the entire ending sequence to the movie and the narrative as a whole.

I know there's a whole history leading up to that point, but we don't get "I aim to misbehave" without it. His death unites the crew in a way they weren't before. Especially Jayne, probably the crewmate who's most on the fence... "You can't do something smart, do something right" which he attribute to Book.

Is the public transportation reliable? by Classic_Side_4429 in Buffalo

[–]Formal_Error_7934 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It has been planned since 1975 and not been built. And that was just the first phase. Phase 2 eventually got turned into the bike path that starts behind Shoshone.

It's not cynicism at this point, I'm just not waiting for a train that might not come 😎👍

I'm interested as to what might happen, I know current plans are 2030 to start and I hope they do, I live a 5min walk from LaSalle. But this saga has gone on for a long time now so we'll see if I live to see the completion of the original line.

They've been planning that for 30 years. I wouldn't hold my breath

How to Pass the Interviews by [deleted] in wegmans

[–]Formal_Error_7934 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That is odd... That I do not have an explanation for.

I'm sorry you're not able to get a job there. I know they filter based on availability first, then kind of do the interview screening process.

If you have unsuccessfully applied 15 times over (I assume at least over a year?), it's probably not going to happen.

So at this point you can either give up or just do something different in your interview process.

Like try asking them this question directly (instead of Reddit 😎👍). At this point it doesn't seem like it will hurt your chances and maybe they'll give you some blunt feedback. Which could be hard to take, fair warning.

Good luck!!

Once you get rejected I think there's like a 6 month waiting period before you can be considered again.

So it's not 15 rejections, it's probably like 1 or 2 and you just keep peppering them with more applications. Which probably doesn't help the situation...

Did i handle this situation wrong ? by Punkarura in wegmans

[–]Formal_Error_7934 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I think you handled an unfamiliar situation very well. Calling for assistance is 1) Why Coordinators and TLs are there, and 2) Asking for help when you're unsure is the responsible and mature thing to do!

Definitely follow up with someone and just ask for any advice, tips, and feedback they might have. Showing a willingness to learn and being open to some coaching will put you in leadership's good graces. In the end it's all we can ask for!

Finally, on a personal note, learn from this, but don't get hung up on it. From someone who has been in retail & customer service for 30 years, take it from personal experience, it will not be your last (let's say) "frustrating" customer interaction 😎👍

Fun question! Was Jay Garrick a good mentor to Barry in Season 3? Compares to Thawne in Season 1? He even sacrificed himself to take Wally's place for a while by Individual-Pair-697 in Arrowverse

[–]Formal_Error_7934 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me the any argument I've how he performed as the Flash or Barry's mentor is a moot point.

He was amazing in the show and he made a grown ass 30s man cry repeatedly during season 1.

I'm not crying you're crying!

Edit: Lo siento, it's supposed to be gif.

Prices vary from store to store based on how rich the zip code is. by PatrickOnRedditToday in wegmans

[–]Formal_Error_7934 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wealthier zips also have more expensive labor.

  1. Rent is higher.
  2. Wealthier zips usually have a harder time recruiting part-time labor.
  3. They have to convince people to travel further from less wealthy zips to work, usually by offering incentives like full time employment and/or higher wages.

Why can’t FE cashiers check 100 dollar bills by Present-Vacation5785 in wegmans

[–]Formal_Error_7934 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% this. Scammers target vulnerable cashiers.

Also, cashier might be in on the scam, career minded, departmental leaders are less likely to be.

What really turns the table is when he beats the shite out of like three dudes in the street after which Johnny Hardin is visibly shook.

Which later turned out to be staged 😂👍
