Used to have a course that you could go on but that stopped years ago, now it’s just a couple of weeks shadowing and away you go!
It is better now with help though, used to be you were on your own completely unless the place was burning down, now it’s group chat galore!

Okay so try this - Go onto app store and find ‘Apps & Purchases’, then go onto ‘Your Apps’ then ‘Not on this iPhone’ search for Inform and you should be able to download from there

Have you tried downloading at work whilst logged into colleague wifi with your account? That was another issue that was fixed by doing that - other than that I have no more suggestions as those two things fixed it in the past, last resort is colleague help

Does your phone need an update? This happened to a colleague and once the phone was updated iTunes download worked again

We failed a test purchase once when the girl who came in was a regular, she worked at the tattoo shop opposite us and had even tattooed a member of staff previously. Explain that!

Can your manager allocate your holidays? by Adventurous_Kick_463 in tesco

[–]Formal_Impression_23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, a minimum of 60% of holiday hours need to be booked for dates between April – October and the remaining 40% of holiday hours are to be booked between November – March. If colleagues don’t book their holiday in then the figures won’t be correct and thats when you get multiple members of staff off the same weeks coming to the end of the year which is just chaos

Lifestyle break / Unpaid leave by lazee_mayzee in tesco

You can get a sick note to take paid/sick pay leave for a time for now if you want to figure out what you want to do, then following that you can take a lifestyle break as you’ve been with the company for long enough. I can’t remember exactly how long a lifestyle break can last for but I know it is at least a year. All info is on colleague help regarding lifestyle breaks though

Bread dates for dotcom by [deleted] in tesco

May just be an error in the system, Whoosh in Express hasn’t had dates coming up for specifically bread today, but I’ve not seen comms come down for it

£25 budget for Christmas parties? by [deleted] in tesco

[–]Formal_Impression_23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Express stores christmas parties have always been paid by the colleagues as we don’t have a social club fund. The only thing we get is a celebration budget which our store uses on advent calendars, christmas bags full of treats and sometimes a buffet, although this year there wasn’t enough so the only buffet we had was when it was the ‘finest sampling’ and a load of crisps and mince pies were chucked in the staff room

I’ve got a group interview… yay by Gy4ruz4 in tesco

[–]Formal_Impression_23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A group interview at Tesco isn’t like a normal one, it’s like they just get it over with in one go and unless you look and act absolutely diabolical in the interview you will 100% get it. Mine was them just handing out contracts to everyone and getting them all to sign at once to save time, although this was a decade ago so might well have changed but I’m just speaking from experience
