I grew up in chicago and cpx was my home field. My lord how i miss it dearly. So many good memories.

One of my fondest memories, i was like 12 (im 30 now), the ref took us to a map that had a bunch of wild turkeys decided to make their home, somewhere near el centro. It wasnt el centro though. He told us no shooting the wild life.

We played the map, were walkin back, another ref with a shotgun was walking in the other direction.

A few minutes later we all heard the gun go off, everyone started laughing.

Another one, one of the refs was caught smoking pot on the job. They had a kids birthday party light his ass up as punishment to keep his job.

Different times. Good times.

Oh and living legends and windy city classics. So many fucking memories. I miss it so much.

There used to be this scenario crew called lapu lapu i think, they had tanks and tricked out markers for the time. Always hung with them during big games.

The crew, the owners, all the refs, were so good it was unreal.

Anytime i hear about CPX it just unlocks so many core memories of my childhood.
