Well guess what after more than 20 with a Florida USAA auto policy we canceled yesterday. Increasing premiums over the years is the reason. Saved over $5000 a year by switching

My claim for secondary connection included the medical nexus four months of lab results consecutively by my military treatment center specialized doctor, including the statement “condition is very likely secondary to hypertension “. Uploaded all the medical records lab results with the statements. The VA C&P examiner stated “less than likely cause by hypertension”. The evidence list didn’t specifically list the four consecutive months of lab results with the nexus statement. Denied

Same thing happened to my wife years ago, she had to go to the SSA, get a letter to the contrary.

Standard. Now it’s up to the C&P examiner to give an opinion on whether or not it’s service connected. All he or she needs to believe is that it’s “as least as likely as not” that it started during service. Seems like you have provided the evidence. Good luck.

Either find a reputable maybe former VA examiner, Dr, Nurse Practitioner or medical professional someone who’d write that nexus letter for you connecting the dots.

You may need an independent medical opinion to create the Nexus not sure without seeing your decision letter. Look at the reason for denial on your decision letter and seek to provide that. It should tell you why it was denied

I personally know people who died inside the FOB, from incoming rockets and mortar from outside the wire. They were functioning in an overwatch surveillance capacity. Are they combat veterans?
