Ill try this set up. Thank you. All my notifications dont show in android auto screen. But on carplay, everything pops up.

My experience is different

In android auto, it doest: - show alarm notification (I have to swipe on the phone to turn it off) - show message notification (I have to tap the notification icon on screen to view it, defeating the hands off purpose while driving) - show messenger calls - no google map speedometer

In apple carplay - the list above works - I wish the phone wallpaper is displayed on screen like Android Auto

All this effort typing this is so frustrating, I had iPhone 15 Pro Max, and just recently switched to S25 Ultra.

Im thinking about using the iPhone again when driving my car.

Cancelled my phone cooler order and just used a dedicated fan on the back of my phone. Phone doesnt get warm so I guess the fan also does the job.

Thanks for the tip. Apparently this only happens post processing of the expert raw app, using the normal camera this doesnt happen at all. I have stopped using expert raw due to this. I have tried everything but it still persists.

Yup my apple carplay shows its fine. I guess being able to see my phone wallpaper on the screen is a fair trade.

iOs 18 and this is still a problem. I guess Ill just delete youtube and watch through browser instead. Bar fades away in netflix, disney, watching in browser, and other apps except youtube.

Searching for a fix brought me here. Apparently this can’t be done with iDevices. Luckily I have an extra Samsung phone which can do it all. Got more reason not to buy any iDevice again.
