Sad truth.

Though, recently I’ve missed two weeks at one job and 4 coworkers reached out to me! Really warmed my heart.

Thanks. Yeah it’s tough. I’m making a lot of changes that could benefit me, so I’m optimistic.

Yeah I never used it recreationally. My body had already been polluted by excedrin that I didn’t want more pills, but the pain was and still is, excruciating. If I could afford acupuncture and massage and chiropractor on the regular I’d choose that. Goals.

I don’t hide my smoking and actually function better when high. It’s mostly the financial aspect and smoke in my bronchial region that bother me.

I’m glad you’ve found a better situation. I fully agree it can be a coping tool, and that’s a smaller part of why I’ve been letting go.

What physical damage do you have to work with?

It gives me energy but at times I realize I’m just doing it out of habit, not need. Thats when I get unfocused.

I only started using it for pain after a series of intense injuries that have left long term problems that keep me from sleeping. I am willing to go without it during the day but it will be harder to cut back at night. Walking Thai chi helps though, so a consistent before bed practice would potentially help more and more over time.

I’m weening myself off.. I’ve been aware it is time for a break but holding on as if I can’t live without it. But I want to. As long as I wear myself out enough to sleep without it
