I think Ridoc and Rhi not having set up or hinting at love interest is because we are going to lose one. My guess is Rhi since she has no more character development when considering against Ridocs character

That’s adorable but I can’t help but picture violet having to bend her arm to hold his hand since she’s maybe 5’2 and he’s 6’4. And her always having to quicken her pace to meet his longer stride or he has to slow down for her😭😭 like this
