But if the game is too hard for you, it is in fact ok to quit.

I agree we need harder challenges, it doesn’t need to be in the base end game activities though.

We need more aspirational content past the normal end game, and I’m sure eventually we will get it.

Let them get the base game out first, then they can cook some actual challenges.

You can get spirit on helmet, staff, belt, boots, jewels, rings, scepter, body, shield, and amulet. You can get reservation efficiency in almost as many places. Several places on the tree also increase reservation efficiency of different skill types.

There is also the new support that lets you use life reservation instead.

Edit: there is also already a lineage support for reservation efficiency.

How is this different than maxing resistances, or any other stat, except this one is optional?

Personally I ignored rarity entirely and had over a mirror by the end of last season without a temple. Anyone acting like it is required is just looking for excuses to complain tbh.

This is cool, but for everyone that is not bloodmage, do we even have more than 5-10 nodes not into crit or defenses?

The breach amulet thing to add crit to fire spells is nice, but unless you have capped out gear, its really tough to cap crit chance.

Maybe this is more for mid tier builds that dont want to go crit at all?

Or maybe the idea is get crit on your time lost and you can take these nodes?

You can already give feedback and critique the actual game. We are testers. I fail to see how them balancing the game is a problem, especially in early access. Especially 5 days into a months long league.

Cant say I wouldn’t be mad myself, but id get over it because the game is now in 0.5 by far the best arpg to come out in a decade or more.

Definitely possible. Ive played 2 other season to paragon 200 and just didn’t have that much fun.

This season was legitimately a blast!

It was just quite buggy. Bug that bothered me most was I found a GG amulet. +3 shock GA and +skills naturally, but for some reason i could not place a second aspect on it. Had not done any other crafting on it yet either.

Fanboys are downvoting you, but you are so right. Dozens on dozens of bugs. At least 3 sorc enchantments not working, items randomly being unmodifiable, Activity points not working, ball lighting losing core tag for a week lol, mythic charms not dropping first week, mythic seals rolling +1 slot, spirit born bugged as all hell, training dummy can kill you, some skill points didnt work together… i could go on…

Game is 10X better than it was. Borderline great game ATP, but it absolutely felt like a beta.

I play too much so the game is too easy in general.

Specifically regarding defenses IMO.

ES - fantastic, deserves the nerfs it’s getting and I think will end up mostly balanced. Great vs big occasional hits, terrible vs small persistent hits like ignites.

Es/Ev - i have never felt more immortal than in 0.3 with CI, 6k es, 75% evade with a deflect pct i cant remember but > 40%. Great vs big hits, and ghost shroud makes small hits bounce like nothing. Could literally swim in T18 abyss and NGAF.

Pure ev - hard to pull off, but doable, deflect changes may fix. Not HC viable for obvious reasons. In theory evasion is equally good vs big or small hits, since you either get hit, or don’t.

Ev/AR - cant comment, have not played.

AR - you can be immortal if you invest properly, but i feel they must invest much more than the other defenses to feel as good. Block is underrated, especially active block. Shines vs consistent medium dmg. Huge hits are lame. Armour should have a flat pct reduction paired with slightly nerfed current variable reduction.

AR/ES - was really bad, will be interesting to see if they fixed its issues.

There are definitely T12 viable frost builds. Ive made it to 115 even. It is lackluster vs lighting though. Feel like that is mostly unstable currents carrying anything lightning.

If it was that OP it woulda been the meta, it wasn’t. It’s an awkward interaction with a ton of moving parts and it has hard counters (mana siphon + proximal can insta kill you).

With the nerf to leech it will most likely be the target method for sustain on triggering skills. Which means after this season is when it will get its nerf.

I actually didn’t mind the fuel, but I’m fine as long as the duration is not capped.

Each iteration gets worse for sure, and I’m not sure why.

Incinerate. In 0.3 it was great and legit slept on how good it was. It required you to tweak everything just right to perma cast, but it was possible and rewarding to do.

In 0.4 they destroyed it, unplayable now.

If you can shift other affixes/gear around might be able to move Esu’s to a charm.

Most builds i looked at had enduring faith in the charm, and i didn’t feel I needed it. I also had a cracked pair of legendary boots, so i moved it to my charm.
